The Cove is located in Gore, VA, near to Winchester, VA and I-81. The Cove features 3,000 acres, spring fed lakes, hiking, biking, fishing, showers, cabins, tent camping, trails, canoeing and more. In addition to the 2005 SoundQuilt Ticket, concert goers will need to pay a $20 entrance fee per person to The Cove upon arrival and register at Cove Headquarters’ at Main Gate. This entrance fee includes entrance camping for the entire weekend. There are no exceptions. **The Main Gate is locked from dusk til dawn so plan to arrive early and stay all night.** Deep within the 3,000 acres of mountain forest is where you’ll discover Camp 6. This is where most of the SQ3 event will occur. The concert takes place high in a mountain meadow. It’s just beautiful. The Cove is really a nice place. Directions:** "The Cove" is centrally located within easy driving distance of Baltimore and Washington, Richmond and Pittsburgh. It is just 12 miles off Interstate 81 on Rt 50 west. From exit 317 on I-81, take Rt 37 south to Rt 50. Take Rt 50 west approximately 8 miles to Gore, VA. Turn left on Rt 751 and 1/2 mile, turn left on Rt 704. Take Rt 704 for 4-1/2 miles to Rt 683. Take Rt 683 for 1/2 mile to the Cove entrance. Follow the Cove road for one mile to the Cove Lake and the Cove Headquarters. Pets welcome as long as you are in total control.
