Web-casting Experience Needed

PROGRAM ANALYST (Bethesda Office)


Primary Responsibilities

• Coordinate work with technology vendors on Web casts, multimedia presentations, Web development, and other Internet and communications technologies

• Utilize regularly updated database of thousands of nationwide agency contacts for communications, project participation estimates, and detailed reporting

• Draft and launch blast fax and email communications pertaining to conferences, Web casts, and other events; Write, edit, and research technical and content-related topics

• Provide technical support and training for team members and clients on general computing, office software, Internet access and networking, graphics and other multimedia, etc. (in coordination with ESI core IT support staff)

• Collaborate with the Program Analyst on project support for English language learners, including creating Web content and other marketing materials in English and Spanish, and establishing tracking programs and processes for language issues

• Assist logistics staff with conference registration planning, implementation, and reporting



• Bachelors degree in a relevant field required, Masters preferred

• Minimum of five years program or related project experience

• Demonstrated proficiency in Windows XP and Office, including advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access

• Proven skills in basic Web page design, including proficiency with HTML Web development software (ESI currently uses DreamWeaver MX);Intermediate understanding of graphics for print publications and the Web, including working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator

• Basic understanding of conference-related audiovisual terms and technologies

• Familiarity with database design and management

• Proven ability to lead task activities successfully from inception to conclusion; Exemplary organizational skills and attention to detail; Demonstrated strength in interpersonal and customer service skills, such as experience providing technical support in computing or other communications contexts; Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written language skills (capable speaker, excellent writer, acute editor and proofreader)

• Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and meet or exceed deadline expectations
