FLEX MATHEWS aka "The Outta Work Super Hero" hails from Sioux Falls , South Dakota . No stranger to lyrical acrobatics, this freestyle champ stitches together airtight vocals in the written and improvisational sense. Currently featured on " School of Emceeing ,” his efforts have been ranked in the Shotgun Review board. Mr. Math has been seen on the infamous Warped Tour and is no stranger to local venues such as U-Turn Bar, Velvet Lounge, Club Five, Ben 'N' Moes, and Capital City Records at Friday Night Tru Skool. Flex has opened for well-established rap artist such as Das Efx, Breez Evaflowen, Poison Pen, Immortal Technique, Grand Agents, Camp Lo , Tajai from Souls of Mischief, and he showcased the art of free styling at the KRS-ONE nine elements show. Before he started performing his written material, Flex Mathews built a local reputation by entering as many rap competitions as possible. Flex Mathews is a 2x and still reigning Guerilla Grammar battle champion, 8 time battle champion for H.E.R., and 3 time plus current reigning of Tru Skool's Rip The Mic Battle.
