Tutor a DC Elementary Student

Volunteer

Recommended Posts

Reading Partners provides one-on-one literacy tutoring for students in D.C. elementary schools that are reading below grade level. Our students are eager to have someone work with them each week to improve their literacy skills.

-No experience necessary

-Tutors are provided with an easy to follow curriculum

-Takes as little as 45 minutes per week.

Opportunities are available Monday-Thursday from 8:30am-6pm. Our tutors range from high school students (starting at age 14) to retirees.

Our sites are in the neighborhoods of Logan Circle, Columbia Heights, Brightwood, Ft. Totten, Edgewood, Trinidad, Congress Heights, and Anacostia.

By giving 45 minutes of your time each week, you'll make a tremendous difference in the life of a student who is struggling with reading. For more information visit www.readingpartners.org/volunteer or call (202) 701-9110.
