Come and enjoy a weekend of family-fun events with St. Timothy's. The lineup of festivities includes something for everyone and everybody, including pets.

On Saturday, October 2 at 10 am, pet and animal owners may bring their furry, finned, feathered and even stuffed friends to the lawn of St. Timothy's for the Blessing of Animals and pets. Held in the tradition of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals, the Blessing of Animals and Pets is a sacred ceremony for creatures of all sizes and species.

On October 3 at 9 am, join St. Timothy's in a joyous church service featuring The Right Reverend Gayle Harris, Bishop Suffragan of the Diocese of Massachusetts. The Right Reverend Harris is the second African-American woman to be ordained a bishop in the Episcopal Church. Her visit to St. Timothy's will mark her first official pastoral engagement in the Washington Diocese since being ordained in January 2004. A gala reception will follow the church service.
