Great Opportunity for Amateur Photographer in DC

AZMJ, a Washington DC-based international development consulting firm, is seeking a local volunteer photographer to take photos during The Cracking the Nut Conference on June 20 and 21 in Washington, DC.

 

The Cracking the Nut Conference aims to accelerate the impact of the world’s leading rural and agricultural development and finance leaders by uniting them in a collaborative pursuit of learning, leverage and large scale change. The conference is named "Cracking the Nut," as rural and agricultural finance have long been tough nuts to crack. This conference is aimed at practitioners, private sector professionals, policymakers, funders, educators, researchers, and other professionals, who design, implement, monitor, evaluate, and/or fund programs and/or policies for stimulating rural and agricultural finance. AZMJ is expecting more than 300 attendees from around the world to attend the conference.

 

Duties:

 

Photograph speakers and participants during the conference

Within 15 days of the event, provide two (2) discs of images taken during the event, including a finalized copy of edited images as well as unedited raw images

Requirements and Qualifications:

 

Provide your own digital camera which must be capable of taking good quality photographs

The individual we are seeking does not need to be a professional photographer but must be competent in the field.

Photo credits will be given, benefiting those seeking to expand their professional portfolio

A reference letter can be supplied upon successful completion of photography assignments

Network with International Development Professionals

Commitment and Hours: the volunteer photographer will need to be at the Enrique V. Iglesias Conference Center (1330 New York Ave., NW, Washington, DC) between 7:30 am to 6 pm on Monday, June 20 and Tuesday, June 21. There will also be an opportunity to check out the conference space on Friday, June 17 if needed.
