Guest James Posted September 17, 2004 Report Share Posted September 17, 2004 Just wanted to let anyone who wants to learn how to secure networks know that an internet security course is currently being offered at Prince Georges Community College on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm and will have 4 sessions, on 10/19, 10/21, 10/26, and 10/28. Here are the details. Knowledge of the Internet and general computer security is now important for technical personnel. This course will focus on security issues on the Internet, Intranet, and Extranet. At the end of the course, you will be able to configure network intrusion software, and to apply the concepts of risk management and auditing. 4 sessions, $120 plus $60 lab fee.
