Posted April 23, 2011 Report Share Posted April 23, 2011 I really am happy that Turkey is contributing at six ships to NATO’s naval fleet to enforce the Libya arms embargo—four frigates, a submarine, and an auxiliary warship. In addition, the aerial mission is being commanded from Turkey at NATO’s Allied Air Component Command in Izmir and Turkey has contributed at least 10 aircraft to support the arms embargo and humanitarian assistance efforts.
