Outer Banks Getaways

Recommended Posts

The Outer Banks of North Carolina are only a four hour drive from Washington D.C. making them an easy getaway for all those hard working Washingtonians. There is so much to do. Paddleboarding, golfing, surfing, kayaking, biking, swimming, fishing, bird-watching, wild horses, 4x4 excursions, the list is endless. And it's the perfect place to do nothing but sit back relax and enjoy the views. I absolutely love the Outer Banks and would recommend it over all other beached within in driving distance. My family stays with Sun Realty. ( http://www.sunrealtync.com) They have the largest selection of homes in all price ranges on all areas of the outer banks and have pet-friendly rentals. If you make it down you have to check out the amazing food. So delicious and fresh, usually caught the same day!

many of the camp sites are perched on their own little sand dunes. And the open roofed Shower Houses are very well maintained and clean.

If you go to the OBX often, You may want to check out the new vacation storage they have at www.beachboxobx.com. The Beach Box makes last minute getaways easy and fun. Even if you only go once a year, it saves so much time.
