I used to work at the KOA campground in Lothian Maryland back in 1990. There is a really good site for all things camping in our area, like campground listings in Maryland, RV parks, and reviews of each! CLICK HERE to goto the Duncan's Family Campground website.

As far as I'm concerned, the best camping in the area are two very different and unique places. To the west, its Dolly Sods West Virginia, a mountain-top plateau wilderness.

To the east, its Cape Henlopen in Delaware located at an abandoned World War II military base, on the peninsula where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Delaware River, just across from Cape May, New Jearsey.

Duncan’s KOA is now the Duncan's Family Campground, and is close to all of Maryland’s Tourist attractions, yet far enough away so you won’t hear interstate noise.
