The Metrorail system will stay open until 1 a.m. on Tuesday morning to accommodate the large crowds expected to attend Monday night’s football game between the Washington Redskins and the Pittsburgh Steelers at FedEx Field.

Metro will have additional personnel at the Morgan Boulevard and Largo Town Center Metrorail stations on the Blue Line and if necessary, will have several additional trains ready to enter service depending on the size of the crowds after the game.

Metro wishes to remind its customers that parking will not be free on Monday night. Riders parking at any Metro parking facility must have a SmarTrip card to exit.

For more information on riding Metrorail or Metrobus, call (202) 637-7000, TTY at (202) 638-3780, or visit Metro’s website at www.metroopensdoors.com.
