Iran, Turkey sign MOU on maritime cooperation

Iran and Turkey inked a memorandum of understanding on maritime cooperation here on Monday.

Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization Director Ali Taheri Motlaq and his Turkish counterpart Hassan Nayeboghlu signed the MOU.

 

“The value of transited goods between Iran and Turkey is about $8.5 billion. Iran imports $6.5 billion worth of goods and exports about $2 billion to Turkey,” Ali Taheri Motlaq explained.
