Psycho Posted June 3, 2008 Report Share Posted June 3, 2008 MAYOR ADRIAN FENTY IS ANTI-UNION & HATES THE POLICE Kristopher Baumann, chairman of the Fraternal Order of Police Metropolitan Police Department Labor Committee has accused Mayor Adrian Fenty of being anti-union and in the current contract negotiations pointing out that the proposal offers officers no guaranteed pay raises, reduces the right to appeal disciplinary matters and cuts out a lot that is already in place that benefits officers. From what is known about the current contract proposal from the District of Columbia to the rank and file of the Metropolitan DC Police Department, it does come across as dealing in bad faith on the part of the city, a clear effort to reduce pay and benefits and more.
