In a lenghty account of a Sarah Palin rally in Scranton, Pa. today, the local paper, the Times-Tribune, relates that at 1:25 p.m. just before she arrived, a candidate for Congress stepped on stage: "Chris Hackett addressed the increasingly feisty crowd as they await the arrival of Gov. Palin.

"Each time the Republican candidate for the seat in the 10th Congressional District mentioned Barack Obama the crowd booed loudly.

"One man screamed "kill him!'"

The report continued: "Supporters have been noted shouting 'kill him,' 'terrorist,' 'off with his head' and other equally incendiary terms about Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama. Others have directly suggested Mr. Obama is a Muslim, which he is not, or a traitor. Some comments even drew rebuke from Republican presidential nominee John McCain."

A Friend Just Emailed me this:

Subject: For real!

WARNING!!! WHAT YOU'RE ABOUT TO VIEW IS GOING TO ALARM YOU. AND THE REASON IS BECAUSE IT ACTUALLY TOOK PLACE.

THE MAN YOU'RE ABOUT TO SEE AND HEAR IS DR. KHALLID MUHAMMAD, NOW DECEASED. AT THE TIME OF HIS SPEECH REGARDING WHITES IN SOUTH AFRICA, HE WAS 2ND IN COMMAND OF THE NATION OF ISLAM UNDER ITS SUPREME COMMANDER, THE HONORABLE MINISTER LOUIS FARRAKHAN.

FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DON'T KNOW, LOUIS FARRAKHAN IS THE LEADER OF THE NATION OF ISLAM HERE IN THE UNITED STATES. IN 1993, JUST AFTER THE MILLION MAN MARCH HE ORGANIZED, FARRAKHAN WENT ON WHAT HE CALLED HIS "WORLD PEACE TOUR" TO THE MIDDLE EAST. WHILE THERE HE MET WITH SEVERAL TERRORIST LEADERS, SADDAM HUSSEIN AND MOMAR KADAFI AMONG THEM. FARRAKHAN WAS CAPTURED ON TAPE AND FILM SAYING, "YOU HAVE AN ALLY WITHIN THE WALLS. GIVE ME THE MONEY TO FUND MY TROOPS AND I WILL BRING DOWN THE WHITE DEVILS FROM WITHIN."

THE TROOPS HE WAS REFERRING TO WERE AMERICA'S BLACK MILITANT STREET GANGS, PARTICULARLY THE NATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS OF THE BLOODS AND CRIPS, OPERATING UNDER A NATIONAL TRUCE FARRAKHAN ORGANIZED AFTER THE L.A. RIOTS, COVERING 125 MAJOR U.S. CITIES.

UPON LEARNING OF FARRAKHAN'S TREASONOUS REMARKS, MEMBERS OF THE U.S. CONGRESS FORBADE HIM FROM REENTERING THE UNITED STATES. BUT PRESSURE FROM THE BLACK CAUCUS AND THE NAACP EVENTUALLY CAUSED THOSE SAME MEMBERS OF CONGRESS TO CAVE AND BOTH FARRAKHAN AND THE MONEY HE RECEIVED FROM THE TERRORISTS LEADERS WAS ALLOWED REENTRY INTO THE COUNTRY.

RECENTLY, BARACK OBAMA'S PASTOR, MENTOR AND DEAR FRIEND OF 20 YEARS, DR. WRIGHT, THE MAN OBAMA BASED ONE OF HIS BOOKS ON,AND WHO ALSO MARRIED THE OBAMA'S AND BAPTIZED THEIR TWO DAUGHTERS, AWARDED HIS (AND OBAMA'S) CHURCH'S (TRINITY) MOST COVETED HONOR -- ITS LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD -- TO NONE OTHER THAN LOUIS FARRAKHAN.

IN RESPONSE TO QUESTIONING, BARACK OBAMA CLAIMED TO HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE OF IT, STATING THAT HE WASN'T THERE WHEN THE AWARD WAS GIVEN, JUST AS HE RESPONDED TO QUESTIONS REGARDING PASTOR WRIGHT'S VITRIOLIC AND HIGHLY PUBLICIZED ANTI-WHITE AND ANTI-AMERICA HATE RANTING.

ASK YOURSELF THIS QUESTION: IF YOUR PASTOR, MENTOR AND DEAR FRIEND OF 20 YEARS AWARDED YOUR CHURCH OF 20 YEARS' LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD TO ADOLPH HITLER, DO YOU THINK YOU WOULD BECOME AWARE OF IT?

HERE IS AN EXCERPT FROM KHALLID MUHAMMAD'S HATE SPEECH:

THINK LONG AND HARD ABOUT WHAT LIES BEHIND THE OBAMA CURTAIN BEFORE CASTING YOUR VOTE FOR AMERICA'S NEXT PRESIDENT AND COMMANDER IN CHIEF.

THE STAKES ARE DANGEROUSLY HIGH AND THERE CAN BE NO DOUBT IN ANYONE'S MIND AFTER RECENT EVENTS THAT AMERICA'S FATE AND FUTURE IS HANGING IN THE BALANCE.

Guest Senator John Kerry

In the final 15 days of this campaign, something has become crystal clear: McCain-Palin and their Republican cohorts can't run on their record. How could they? Instead, they'll pull every deceitful and deceptive trick from the Karl Rove playbook to retain their power.

Believe me, I speak from experience here – there is nothing these characters won't do with their backs to the wall and power slipping out of their hands.

From the race for the White House to dozens of House races, we're not just working to pull our candidates through to victory. We're working to pull our country out of trouble.

As we race towards the finish line, we've got to let Barack Obama, Joe Biden and all of our candidates know that we've got their back.

Don't stop working until we win,

John Kerry

The entire republican base is fueled by hatred, intolerance, misinformation, and bigotry. That's why Sarah Palin and John McCain have to repeatedly shout "Terrorist!" whenever they get a chance at their rallies just to invigorate the crowd.

Casey Kauffman talked to some Republican supporters after a rally by Sarah Palin, the Republican vice-presidential candidate, in Ohio.

In my circles, there's the thought that a black president will show whites the truth about America: You no longer have power here. It's not your country anymore. And that will be ultimately positive for whites because they'll "wake up" to the reality, and maybe organize for action instead of cowering in the corner, afraid to be called "racist" for sticking up for whites.

Does anyone here realize the OBAMA is half white. Even if he was all African American what is the difference? Even if he was all Muslim what is the difference? As a white male I am saddened by the reflection some people are giving to our "Land of the Free." Can't We all be Americans? Or is this a "white's only" nation?

Palin "the inexperienced" and McCain "the maverick" make me ill. After watching the past few days of their "campaign," it is clear they will not fight for all of us, they will however fight for voters with lighter skin.

McCain and Sarah campaign has given racist Americans the go ahead to become verbal again and the raw violence of the hang-them-high southern segregationist has stepped forward with a vengeance, These are the groups that in the Republican riley are crying Kill him and, Obama is a socialist, Obama is a Arab, Obama is a traitor and unpatriotic!! (Charley James, Alaskans speak (in a frightened whisper): Palin is racist, sexist, vindictive, and mean Online Journal Guest Writer, Sep 8, 2008).

Recently the AP reported that a group of Skin Heads types were plotting to kill Obama along with many other people! (LARA JAKES JORDAN, Plot to Kill Obama Uncovered, Feds Say, AP, October 27, 2008). I still suggest that Obama was sent to Hawaii last week to visit his ailing mother to get him out of Harms way!! The Republicans have to stop feeding the sadistic racist far-right-wing-conservatives in America. These are the same violent, racist, Bible thumping, ignorant, Dixicrats that ran to the Republican Party during President Reagan's “Southern Strategy!!” They are alive, well, and waiting to be their ignorant violent selves!!

People tend to forget the Republican Party set the slaves free yet, for the past forty plus years the Democrats led by the likes of Robert(KKK)Bird have pulled the wool over black eyes helped by the real "Uncle Toms" (Sharpton, Jackson, Wright, Farrakan).

These race baiters have kept their black countrymen poor and uneducated, so they can keep their own power.

I am part of an extended family of Jews, Christians, Hindus, atheists, Muslims, Sikhs and a beautiful Seventh Day Adventist saint. Part adoptive, part family by marriage, and part by blood, we thrive in venues from Bangladesh to the Left Coast of California. Some of the most interesting people in this family are Muslims, including one of my own children. For this reason, I am angry and frightened—mainly angry—at the spectacularly ignorant hate rhetoric against Muslims used recently by some politicians

The current frenzy of Muslim-bashing ostensibly has to do with the “Ground Zero Mosque,” although it is neither at Ground Zero nor a Mosque. (It’s a community center.) Like the Sherrod case, this was first ginned up in the rightwing blogosphere by professional hate-mongers, then promoted by Fox News and the Murdoch newspapers. Then it was embraced by politicians such as Newt Gingrich, most of them Republicans.

This is a departure for modern American politics, and a dangerous one. As any study of anti-Semitism in Europe will demonstrate, once religious bigotry gets into a political culture—or a political party—it is almost impossible to get it out. A hundred years ago rightwing and nationalist groups in Europe declared Jews to be the cause of everything bad, and that kind of political anti-Semitism made Hitler’s ascent possible. Like the anti-Semites of the early 20th century, today’s Islamophobes also seek war, although today it is religious war the extremist elements want.

This is a direct and very dangerous threat to the First Amendment of our Constitution. Religious liberty is not just one Amendment in the Bill of Rights; it’s the most important. (That’s why it’s the first.) If we lose the First Amendment, America as we know it is finished. Religious liberty is, with the single exception of my children, the only thing I would die for. Secondly, it is precisely the strategy of Al Qaeda to stampede us into hate campaigns against Islam, to help the terrorists recruit Muslims abroad. How ironic that these Islamophobic, rightwing politicians are so willing to do the work of Al Qaeda. But they want the same thing Al Qaeda does—all-out religious war.

The Islamophobes fall into four groups. First are the evangelicals that believe that religious war against Muslims will usher in the Second Coming of Christ. Then there are people who are passionate about Israel, and think they’re helping Israel by spreading religious bigotry, when actually they are harming the cause of Israel. Third, there are sadists and mentally unstable types that get off on terrorizing vulnerable minorities. Fourth, there are the ambitious politicians—and for them, the fires of hell are not hot enough, because they are out for themselves and care nothing about America.

Do they ever stop to think that every time they say something needlessly inflammatory about Islam, it endangers our precious young men and women in uniform, who are already in harm’s way? No, they do not—despite wrapping themselves in the flag, they care only about getting elected.

People wonder why there is such hate now, so many years after 9/11. But it isn’t about 9/11—it’s about the dangerous potential of frustrated people. The American Dream is receding, spurred by the rapacious greed of the corporate upper class. Within the swirling currents of discontent that affect the American people, the influence of the Religious Right, the neo-cons, the Tea Party and other rightwing extremists is exponentially multiplied. Their answer is simple: Americans must find meaning in a state of permanent, apocalyptic religious war. In the Middle East, Halliburton and other war profiteers will set up a new empire; domestically, Muslims are to be expelled or interned.

Ultimately, Americans really don’t like to see a burly guy shoving a placard in the face of an eight-year-old Muslim boy and yelling “murderer!” as the child goes to Friday prayers. But for the American people to see how dangerous religious bigotry can be there must be strong, unequivocal voices making the case for religious liberty. And those voices must start now.

For me, it’s not theoretical. It’s a family thing.

For months, the right wing has been leading a hateful campaign against the proposed Park 51 Islamic community center that will be built two blocks from Ground Zero in New York City. Many prominent conservatives like disgraced former House Speaker Newt Gingrich have even gone as far as to claim that Park 51 will act as a launching pad for the introduction of "Sharia law" to America. These top conservatives have claimed that they aren't opposed to all mosques, but rather just one near Ground Zero. Gingrich, for example, said he would not be offended by a mosque near Central Park or Columbia University. However, the culture of hate these right wingers are fomenting against Muslims is spreading all over the country. Mosques in locations as far apart as Madera, CA, and Murfreesboro, TN have faced hateful protests and angry threats. And unfortunately, in recent weeks, the hate has turned violent. Between a violent attack on a Muslim cab driver in New York City and an arson attempt against a mosque in the heart of the American South, the far right's toxic rhetoric is starting to have very real, very dangerous consequences.

HATE-INSPIRING RHETORIC: In campaigning against Park 51 and other mosques across the country, conservatives have escalated their rhetoric to hateful levels. Gingrich compared building Park 51 to the Nazis putting a sign next to the Holocaust museum in Washington, D.C. Former Bush adviser Karl Rove compared the organizers of Park 51 to "skinheads" showing "up at a Black sorority convention" and screaming bigoted remarks and to "Neo-Nazis" showing up "at the B'na B'rith hotel and" having "their meeting in the next meeting room." Hate radio host Neal Boortz earlier this month called Islam a "gutter religion" and a "cult." Boortz may be picking up his smear against Islam from Tennessee Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey ®, who openly wondered aloud about whether Islam is "actually a religion or is it a nationality, way or life, or cult, whatever you want to call it." The American Family Association's Director of Issues Analysis Bryan Fischer even went as far as to say that the United States should have "no more mosques, period" because each "mosque is dedicated to the overthrow of the American government." The rhetoric of these major conservative figures stands in stark contrast to President Bush's rhetoric following the 9/11 attacks. The former president said just "days after the Twin Towers were destroyed in 2001" that "the face of terror is not the true faith of Islam. ... Islam is peace. These terrorists don't represent peace."

HATE TURNED VIOLENT: When a minority group like Muslim Americans are demonized in this fashion, it is only a matter of time before paranoid individuals turn to violence. This past May, a pipe bomb was set off at the site of a protested Jacksonville, FL mosque. Early this month, a playground at an Arlington, TX mosque was torched. Last week, Bangladeshi-American New York City cab driver Ahmed Sharif picked up an intoxicated 21-year-old man. The man, Michael Enright, began to ask Sharif questions about his personal life. At one point, Enright asked Sharif, "Are you Muslim?" When Sharif replied that he was, Enright replied with the Muslim greeting, "Assalamu alaikum," then yelled, "Consider this a checkpoint!" and stabbed and slashed Sharif with his knife, leading to his hospitalization. Reports later revealed that Enright had served in Afghanistan with an NGO and kept a diary filled with anti-Muslim rhetoric. Sharif, who had been in the U.S. for more than 25 years, suggested to the press that the toxic debate surrounding Park 51 was endangering Muslims in the city. The week before the attack in New York, a brick was thrown at a window of a mosque in Madera, CA. Outside the premises, vandals put up a pair of signs: "Wake up America, the enemy is here" and "No temple for the god of terrorism." And this past Friday, a suspected arsonist set fire to part of the construction site at a Murfreesboro, TN mosque. Since then, "Muslim leaders in central Tennessee say that frightened worshipers are observing Ramadan in private and that some Muslim parents are wary of sending their children to school."

HATE'S LASTING EFFECTS: This combination of hateful rhetoric from the right's leaders and the rise in hate crimes against Muslims unfortunately serves to undermine both Muslim Americans' image at home and America's image abroad. A Time Magazine poll released earlier this month found 61 percent of Americans oppose the construction of Park 51. Even more disturbingly, only 44 percent of Americans held a favorable view of Muslim Americans. Only 55 percent of respondents "said they would favor the construction of an Islamic community center and mosque two blocks from their home." Almost one-third of respondents thought Muslims should be barred from running for president, and 24 percent of them mistakenly believed that President Obama is a Muslim. There is also evidence that the rise in hatred against Muslims here in the United States is serving to alienate and radicalize Muslims abroad. A Taliban operative going by the name Zabihullah told Newsweek that, by "preventing [Park 51] from being built, America is doing us a big favor." He explained that the anti-mosque campaign is providing the Taliban with "more recruits, donations, and popular support." Another Taliban official who "remains active in the insurgency" in Afghanistan told the magazine that he expects the anti-mosque campaigns to provoke a "new wave of terrorist trainees from the West," similar to suspected Times Square car bomber Faisal Shahzad. Zabihullah concludes, the "more mosques you stop, the more jihadis we will get." The irony behind the far right's campaign against peaceful Muslims is that Muslim Americans have actually been acting as a bulwark against extremism. Researchers at Duke University and the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill concluded in a study earlier this year that contemporary mosques in the United States serve as a deterrent to Islamic radicalism. A handful of conservatives have pushed back against the far right's rhetoric, however. Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) said that the anti-Park 51 campaign is "all about hate and Islamophobia." Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-UT) said he'd be "the first to stand up for [Muslims'] rights" to build a mosque near Ground Zero. Yet, as the American Prospect's Adam Serwer writes, "Park 51 opponents have been remarkably quiet about [anti-Muslim] incidents. ... Either Park 51 opponents don't care about the larger anti-Muslim backlash, or they don't want to be seen defending American Muslims in any context."

I've been trying to say this since 911, but you worry me. I wish you didn't. I wish when I walked down the streets of this country that I love, that your color and culture still blended with the beautiful human landscape we enjoy in this country. But you don't blend in anymore. I notice you, and it worries me.

I notice you because I can't help it anymore. People from your homelands, professing to be Muslims, have been attacking and killing my fellow citizens and our friends for more than 20 years now. I don't fully understand their grievances and hate, but I know that nothing can justify the inhumanity of their attacks.

On September 11, ARAB-MUSLIMS hijacked four jetliners in my country. They cut the throats of women in front of children and brutally stabbed to death others. They took control of those planes and crashed them into buildings killing thousands of proud fathers, loving sons, wise grandparents, elegant daughters, best friends, favorite coaches, fearless public servants, and children's mothers.

The Palestinians celebrated, the Iraqis were overjoyed as was most of the Arab world. So, I notice you now. I don't want to be worried. I don't want to be consumed by the same rage and hate and prejudice that has destroyed the soul of these terrorists But I need your help. As a rational American, trying to protect my country and family in an irrational and unsafe world, I must know how to tell the difference between you, and the Arab/Muslim terrorist.

How do I differentiate between the true Arab/Muslim Americans and the Arab/Muslim terrorists in our communities who are attending our schools, enjoying our parks, and living in OUR communities under the protection of OUR constitution, while they plot the next attack that will slaughter these same good neighbors and children?

The events of September 11th changed the answer. It is not my responsibility to determine which of you embraces our great country, with ALL of its religions, with ALL of its different citizens, with all of its faults. It is time for every Arab/Muslim in this country to determine it for me.

I want to know, I demand to know, and I have a right to know, whether or not you love America. Do you pledge allegiance to its flag? Do you proudly display it in front of your house, or on your car? Do you pray in your many daily prayers that Allah will bless this nation, that He will protect and prosper it? Or do you pray that Allah with destroy it in one of your Jihad's? Are you thankful for the freedom that only this nation affords? A freedom that was paid for by the blood of hundreds of thousands of patriots who gave their lives for this country? Are you willing to preserve this freedom by also paying the ultimate sacrifice? Do you love America ? If this is your commitment, then I need YOU to start letting ME know about it.

Your Muslim leaders in this nation should be flooding the media at this time with hard facts on your faith, and what hard actions you are taking as a community and as a religion to protect the United States of America. Please, no more benign overtures of regret for the death of the innocent because I worry about who you regard as innocent. No more benign overtures of condemnation for the unprovoked attacks because I worry about what is unprovoked to you. I am not interested in any more sympathy. I am only interested in action. What will you do for America - our great country - at this time of crisis, at this time of war?

I want to see Arab-Muslims waving the AMERICAN flag in the streets. I want to hear you chanting 'Allah Bless America ' I want to see young Arab/Muslim men enlisting in the military. I want to see a commitment of money, time, and emotion to the victims of this butchering and to this nation as a whole.

The FBI has a list of over 400 people they want to talk to regarding the WTC attack. Many of these people live and socialize right now in Muslim communities. You know them.

You know where they are. Hand them over to us, now! But I have seen little even approaching this sort of action. Instead I have seen an already closed and secretive community close even tighter. You have disappeared from the streets. You have posted armed security guards at your facilities. You have threatened lawsuits. You have screamed for protection from reprisals.

The very few Arab/Muslim representatives that HAVE appeared in the media were defensive and equivocating. They seemed more concerned with making sure that the United States proves who was responsible before taking action. They seemed more concerned with protecting their fellow Muslims from violence directed towards them in the United States and abroad than they did with supporting our country and denouncing 'leaders' like Khadafi, Hussein, Farrakhan, and Arafat.

If the true teachings of Islam proclaim tolerance and peace and love for all people, then I want chapter and verse from the Koran and statements from popular Muslim leaders to back it up. What good is it if the teachings in the Koran are good, and pure, and true, when your 'leaders' are teaching fanatical interpretations, terrorism, and intolerance? It matters little how good Islam SHOULD BE if huge numbers of the world's Muslims interpret the teachings of Mohammed incorrectly and adhere to a degenerative form of the religion. A form that has been demonstrated to us over and over again. A form whose structure is built upon a foundation of violence, death, and suicide. A form whose members are recruited from the prisons around the world. A form whose members (some as young as five years old) are seen day after day, week in and week out, year after year, marching in the streets around the world, burning effigies of our presidents, burning the American flag, shooting weapons into the air. A form whose members convert from a peaceful religion, only to take up arms against the great United States of America, the country of their birth. A form whose rules are so twisted, that their traveling members refuse to show their faces at airport security checkpoints, in the name of Islam.

We will NEVER allow the attacks of September 11, or any others for that matter, to take away that which is so precious to us: Our rights under the greatest constitution in the world. I want to know where every Arab Muslim in this country stands and I think it is my right and the right of every true citizen of this country to demand it. A right paid for by the blood of thousands of my brothers and sisters who died protecting the very constitution that is protecting you and your family.

I am pleading with you to let me know. I want you here as my brother, my neighbor, my friend, as a fellow American. But there can be no gray areas or ambivalence regarding your allegiance, and it is up to YOU, to show ME, where YOU stand. Until then.

'YOU WORRY ME!'

We wish all a blessed Ramadan.

Peace be upon all of you. On behalf of Park51, I would like to express our support of President Obama's brave and principled defense of religious liberty and freedom. President Obama has always stood up for the values our country is founded upon, values which we, like all Americans, honor and cherish.

We understand that many of our fellow New Yorkers and fellow Americans have concerns and questions. In the days and months ahead, we will be answering those questions. We are only at the beginning of this process, and we would like to invite our neighbors and fellow New Yorkers to reach out to us and learn more about us.

Muslims have been living, working and worshiping in lower Manhattan for decades. We hope, through Park51, to accommodate the long-standing needs of the Muslims of lower Manhattan, and also contribute to the revitalization of these neighborhoods. We are committed to working to improve New York City, to grow together, and to benefit America.

As our community moves forward, we will keep our doors open and work together with our fellow New Yorkers to improve our city and enrich our country. In the best Muslim tradition, we hope to take this Ramadan as an opportunity to serve our fellow Americans, help the less fortunate and open our hearts to one another.

The only hope for this country is that men like this can bring a message of peace, and common goals to its citizenry. For everyone, of every race and religion, wants the same things of life... to meet someone, fall in love, and raise a family in an environment of health, education and peace!

http://www.thenational.ae/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20100830/NATIONAL/708299835/1001#comments

“America was created by people who fled Europe seeking religious freedom and religious liberty. So it is an essential part of the American worldview and creed, that religious liberty is a fundamental protected right,” he said, adding that the role of government is to protect all religions.

“This is something which I believe the Muslim world insufficiently appreciates about America. I’d like to see them understand that better, recognise that better. And recognise that in that is a value which lies at the very core of the Quranic value,” he said.

The imam also spoke of an “evolving American Islamic identity”, and the need to avoid equating Islam with extremism, a concern that “has been going on for quite some time now”.

“And this is why it is important, the issue of radicalism is a threat to all of us. We have radicals in the Muslim world and we have radicals in the other faith traditions as well.”

“The radicals feed off each other and need each other to sustain themselves. So we need right now to combat the radical voices. That’s the only way we can win this struggle, and establish a peaceful world order, which is what everybody wants and everybody needs.”

“We are evolving an American Islamic identity, and the struggles we are going through today are of the same genre as what the previous faith communities had to face – Jewish immigrants, Catholic immigrants had to face even worse attacks against their communities,” he said.

“But as time goes on and as the second generation establishes itself and is rooted in the United States they articulate an expression of who we are as Americans and to be seen decreasingly as alien and being local.”

That goal is being strengthened through the increased presence of Muslims in fields such as law enforcement and government, as well in more traditional occupations such as dentistry or driving a cab.

“In perceptions between the Muslim world or the Arab Muslim world and the United States in particular, it is an ongoing picture, it is dynamic,” he said.

“There are issues and events which take place that shape people’s perceptions in both directions, whether positively or negatively.”

If we do not allow American Muslims to build their Community Center, then other groups will stop Jewish Temples, Masonic Temples, Mormon Temples, Catholic Churches, Baptist Churches, Methodist Churches, etc... from being built.

You blame the Republicans and you are a fool. You don't know how all of this came to be. I DO.

I was there for all of this and more.

I know what's real and what's bull S***.

Most Muslims believe that the democrats will protect them. Most muslims would be better off if they did their own research and from that learn the truth.

Like I have said before, The truth is the truth. Not what you think, not what I think "it's just what it is".

But for the most part this post will go in one ear and out the other.

We have allies with in the muslim world, you "The general public BETTER GET YOUR HEADS ON STRAIGHT".

You really don't know JACK.

I am calling you out. What is reality to you? How did this come to be?

Do you believe Barack Obama is a Muslim?

Do you think black people are evil.

Should we bomb Iran?

Oh Great Oz please enlighten me.

I think we can simmer down tensions. Terry Jones has called off his Koran burning event.

Here is his statement in full:

This has been for us a very, very difficult, trying time. We have been in much thought and prayer over this whole period.

A lot of times we were asked what would it take for us to call this thing off. We have thought it over many times. We felt very convinced that we should do this.

We thought about what would have to happen for us to call our event off. As we prayed about that, in the past we did have one idea.

This idea we put out in prayer to God. That if he would want us to call this off, if we have accomplished our goal, then our thought was the American people do not as a whole want the mosque at the Ground Zero location.

That if they were willing to either cancel the mosque at the Ground Zero location, or if they were willing to move it away from that location, we would consider that sign from God.

We have, or he has [indicating Iman Muhammad Musri, standing beside him], been in contact with the imam in New York City.

I, with the imam here, will be flying up there on Saturday to meet the imam at the Ground Zero mosque.

He has agreed to move the location. That of course cannot happen overnight. But he has agreed to move that.

We felt that that would be a sign that God would want us to do it.

The American people do not want the mosque there. And of course Muslims do not want us to burn the Koran.

The imam has agreed to move the mosque. We have agreed to cancel our event on Saturday. And on Saturday I will be flying up there to meet with him.

Calling me out on what?

That your group foreign policy is a disaster. Why do you think that I haven't been posting on it?

You seem to have a grudge against those who are not black.

You use the discrimination card as a political weapon to push your groups’ agenda, no matter how destructive it is for the economy.

Anyone who does not agree with your group is automatically discriminatory.

Proof in point Tea Partiers.
