Our Virginia market is in need of a Senior Transportation Project Manager to lead highway, roadway, bridge and interchange projects. This position will manage multidisciplinary project teams across multiple geographies. The ideal candidate for this position will have skills to manage the complex nature of large roadway projects in various stages of completeness. You will be responsible for managing project teams performing environmental evaluations, preliminary engineering, final design engineering, construction management and construction contractors; and documentation requirements for federally funded roadway projects. As the key project manager, you will develop scopes, negotiate hours, prepare reports, develop and maintain schedules and budgets; and ensure quality reviews are completed.

 

Successful candidates will have strong leadership skills and experience in both design and construction procedures for roadway projects. Need a BSCE and a PE, with 15+ years of progressively responsible experience managing large transportation projects. Your focus on providing excellent leadership skills, creative engineering solutions and effective communication skills will be the winning combination.

 

Basic Qualifications: BS CE, PE in VA or DC or the ability to obtain in one year, 12 years progressively responsible experience, leadership responsibility.
