Luke_Wilbur Posted June 17, 2007 Report Share Posted June 17, 2007 On Saturday, June 16, the DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) opened five outdoor swimming pools (Barry Farm, Benning Park, Ft. Dupont, Kelly Miller, Banneker), signaling the beginning of the outdoor summer swimming season. Weekend and holiday hours of operation for outdoor pools are 12 pm until 6 pm. DPR’s ongoing partnership with Amerigroup Community Care allows for free swimming for DC residents until September 30, 2007.
