1460 Wall Mountables: DCAC’s Annual Open Exhibit

July 16th—August 22th, 2004

DCAC Membership Benefit Opening: Friday, July 16th from 7:00-9:00 pm


It’s that time again: DCAC’s annual benefit art show! The gallery will be divided into 1460 2’x 2’ exhibit squares. All are welcome to show and sell their art. The entry fee helps support the DCAC’s projects in the arts community. Become a DCAC member today and receive three free spaces, a discount on purchasing additional spaces, and a full year of DCAC membership benefits! Art collectors will be present and there will be a $100 prize for the best use of space. The following notable local artists have already signed on: Erik Sandberg (Conner Contemporary), Murial Hasbun (Connor Contemporary), Maggie Micheal (G Fine Art), Dan Steinhilber (Numark), Colby Caldwell (Hemphill), Linn Myers (G Fine Art), Dan Treado (Addison/Ripley), and Graham Caldwell (Addison/Ripley). Come and mingle with renowned and emerging artists while enjoying a wide array of wall-mountable art!


-Become a DCAC member at the event and receive three free spaces!

-DCAC members receive one free space. Additional spaces are available for $5.

-Each 2’ x 2’ space is only $10 for non-members, $5 for members.

-Each artist can purchase up to 5 spaces.

-Art must be 2’ x 2’ or smaller. Spaces may not be combined to accommodate larger

pieces (but larger pieces can be divided and placed in adjacent squares).

-All art must be wall mountable.

-$100 will be awarded to the artist for best use of space.

-Artists may hang their work from 3-8 pm on July 14th, 15th, and 3-6pm on the 16th.

-Spaces are available on a first come, first served basis.

-Work must be picked up August 25-29 from 2-7pm.
