New Business Development Executive

Results Software is seeking a candidate for the full-time position of "New Business Development Executive."


Job Requirements are:


1. Minimum 5 years B-to-B outside sales experience with particular expertise in Prospecting & Consultative selling.


2. Experience selling contact management software and/or accounting software in the small - medium sized (DC metro area) business market a huge plus.


3. Proficient in making product presentations and addressing prospects on how to apply software solutions to their business realities.


4. Experience in the small - medium sized (DC metro area) business market (1 - 100 employees) and their business management needs and challenges.


5. Proven track record in handling all aspects of the sales process especially closing software sales.


6. Highly motivated "hunter" and able to work both independently and as a team member.


7. The following additional expertise would be helpful, but not required:

a. Certificates for completion of formal sales training

b. Comprehensive experience with one or more of the following products: Outlook, Act!, Goldmine and QuickBooks

c. Working experience with MS-Office Suite (MS-Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

d. Basic understanding of networking options for interconnecting multiple office locations

e. Basic understanding of the typical challenges of developing and deploying database applications
