Senior Account Executive – Full-time sales position working from home office. Compensation includes salary and commission. Present opening is for the Washington D.C. market.

Summary

 

We are looking for full-time seasoned salespeople with significant experience, knowledge and contacts. The outside sales representative is responsible for presenting ServiceMagic’s lead-generation service to mid and large size residential contractors, service professionals, and real estate firms. This individual will be responsible for expanding the existing base of ServiceMagic customers in the local market. This role will include direct responsibility for both new business acquisition and account management.

 

Outside sales representatives will have extensive training on the product and will have access to a strong web-based account management tool.

 

Requirements

 

· Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience

· Minimum of 3 years of short sales cycle experience

· Sales experience includes both new business acquisition and account management

· Have worked in an home office environment

· Proven track record of sales success

· Strong cold-calling experience

· Preferably have experience calling upon residential contractors, service professionals, or real estate agents

· Preferably have experience selling advertising

· Solid computer skills – proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

· Strong communication and closing skills
