The Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs' Office of the Tenant Advocate is holding the first of a series of educational forums. These tenant-focused forums will be held in each city Ward.

 

WHAT: Office of the Tenant Advocate Educational Forums

 

WHEN: April 14, 2007 (Ward 1)

 

WHERE: Bell Multicultural Senior High School

3101 16th Street NW

10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

 

SESSIONS INCLUDE:

• Rental Reform Amendment Act of 2006

• Ins And Outs of Residential Housing Inspections

• Completing a Tenant Petition

• Understanding Your Refusal of First Right

• Understanding the Condo Conversion Process

• Need Help Eliminating Rats, Mice, Roaches/Bedbugs

 

Additional forums are scheduled for the following dates:

Ward 2 June 2

Ward 3 June 16

Ward 6 September 8

Ward 5 October 6

Ward 4 November 3
