THE WASHINGTON POST’S LOST CREDIBILITY

This week, I took deep offense to a blog article written by Washington Post columnist David Nakamura on DC Wire referring to Dorothy Brizill as a “Gadfly” because the manner in which he used the word was done more to be insulting to Mrs. Brizill than to add anything positive to the story.

As far as I am concerned, the Washington Post for the past twenty five years has been losing credibility, good writers or stories worth reading where it’s down cline as a good newspaper has been spiraling toward the gutter of yellow journalism since the days of Woodward and Bernstein ended.

No, the Washington Post in its feeble efforts has tried to compete with real newspapers like the New York Times, San Diego Charger and others but all it can offer us are Mickey Mouse reporters like Nakamura who unlike Mrs. Brizill is clueless to what real investigative journalism is, or what it takes to get a good story out of these jokers we call our leaders who have no qualms in lying and disrespecting the voters.
