Client Service Manager I

DESCRIPTION: To serve as the primary contact with a client to ensure that CH2M HILL has a sustained relationship with the client, achieves complete client satisfaction with our work, and fully leverages our relationship to benefit the client and the firm. The Client Service Manager (CSM) focus is to ensure that CH2M HILL is the client's consultant-of-choice, that we have a thorough understanding of the client's consulting needs and are seen as their best advocate for accomplishing their goals. 1.Understand the client's full range of consulting needs.

2. Understand the client's organization and decision-making styles and process.

3. Develop and maintain consistent relationships with key decision-makers at staff and political levels.

4. Identify opportunities to influence and create the client’s perception of CH2M HILL

5. Develop strategies to expose the client to the full-range of capabilities offered by the firm.

6. Maintain an understanding of regulations, competitors, and external drivers that may affect the client.

7. Develop a Tactical Action Plan (TAP), establish a budget and manage the effort to budget.

2. Ability to anticipate client needs and provide best expertise to address needs

3. Client focused problem solving skills that result in "win-win" solutions

4. Flexibility to deal with the unexpected

5. Understanding of client problems/context, such as need to improve competitiveness

6. Can-do approach – pragmatic but enthusiastic

7. Personal relationships with assigned clients

8. Personal relationships with competitors/contractors

9. Desire and aptitude to assume responsibility for client development

10. Recognized in national/regional client organization associations and in professional engineering circles.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

The CSM 1 must meet the following requirements:

Responsible for at least one strategic client that represents a significant portion of the firm's business in the region

May be CSM for several smaller clients in addition to principal client

Consistently maintains contacts at highest client staff and political levels

Capable of selling broad range of services to the client managed

Considered the principal link between the client and CH2M HILL

Performed successfully as CSM 2 and, over several years, had an aggregate annual work volume of at least $0.5 million from assigned clients. If not a U.S. Citizen, applicant must have a non-academic visa which will permit him or her to work for any employer.

BA/BS

SALARY:

Commensurate with experience.
