You can blame the recession all you want but I guarantee Bethesda retail sales are down in part because of the parking monsters. In the last two weeks I've racked up $100 worth of tickets for a 30 second lateness in getting to a meter and misreading a sign. I won't be shopping in Bethesda again thank you. And good luck to the merchants with their overpriced food and wares. If you want me to shop in Bethesda don't add another $50.00 to my day by supporting the parking Nazis. They are costing you a lot of business. And your tax dollars are paying for them to wreck your business.
