When applying for tickets? Call your respective representative in June/July, because then you don't have to play these type of games when it comes to getting tickets, and BE A PERSISTENT ABOUT IT.
I gave my two tickets to one of my family members who I must say with a great deal of sadness is a Hardcore democrat "No one is perfect".
For the record; Several folks in my community found out that I had tickets, and the offers that I was getting MADE MY JAW DROP TO THE GROUND "It was unreal, 7k for two tickets? It's crazy out there".

We are planning on attending the Ceremony and Mid Atlantic Region Ball, but our hotel is in Baltimore. We have MARC tickets to enter Washington in AM, but do not know what to do with dress and tuxedo while attending ceremony. Any ideas??

Just wear your tux and dress the entire day and ENJOY! haha. Try wearing some undergarment like and Underarmour top to stay warm while still appearing chic hehe
