Saturday is the citywide Democratic Straw Poll for the race for mayor. It's from 8 am to 4 pm at Howard University Law School in Van Ness. Any District resident can vote, whether you're a registered Democrat or are willing to register as one on-site.
We need your vote.
I'll be there at 1:00 for a candidates forum, but you can go anytime to cast your ballot. You can take Metro to the UDC/Van Ness Station, or if you need a ride, call our headquarters at 202-682-4729.
This is an exciting time for our campaign.
We've got the momentum, but Adrian Fenty still has millions of dollars in the bank and is willing to pay people to go vote for him in these straw polls.
Thankfully, we've got supporters like you ready and willing to make the time to vote because you believe in what our shared vision of One City.
