Gary Johnson, the former Republican two term governor of New Mexico is the candidate of the Libertarian Party for President of the United States.

He wants to wage peace around the world qne bring ALL the troops home - Of course, this scares the heck out of the two big corporate parties and so they are conspiring to keep him out of the debates.

But he will be on the ballot in at least 47 states and D.C.

!

He wants to abolish the IRS, legalize weed and end the war on drugs. He supports the rights of those who want to marry someone of the sex marriage and he supports abortion rights! Some former Republican, huh? Remember, His home state, New Mexico, is 2/3 Democratic.

He is a self made man who balanced the state budget by cutting spending and lowering taxes - he vetoed more spending bills than all other governors combined and told the lobbyists to take a flying you-know-what! He is honest and cool...

A vote for Gary Johnson is not only a vote for an honest man, it is a vote against corporate PAC money corrupting our system of government!

Very few really want Barack or Mitt to be in the Oval Office for the next four years - both of these men get more negatives than positives in every poll! Most vote for either one as a vote against the other!

But no one dislikes Johnson. And wouldn't that be nice? A president named Gary (instead of...)

His running mate is retired Judge Jim Gray of Southern California. Another very cool guy. I've met him and I was impressed. Look him up and see if you don't agree!

Gary Johnson needs to be in the debates. Thank to FactCheck.org we can see how many false claims were made.

We found exaggerations and false claims flying thick and fast during the first debate between President Obama and his Republican challenger, Mitt Romney.

  • Obama accused Romney of proposing a $5 trillion tax cut. Not true. Romney proposes to offset his rate cuts and promises he won’t add to the deficit.
  • Romney again promised to “not reduce the taxes paid by high-income Americans” and also to “lower taxes on middle-income families,” but didn’t say how he could possibly accomplish that without also increasing the deficit.
  • Obama oversold his health care law, claiming that health care premiums have “gone up slower than any time in the last 50 years.” That’s true of health care spending, but not premiums. And the health care law had little to do with the slowdown in overall spending.
  • Romney claimed a new board established by the Affordable Care Act is “going to tell people ultimately what kind of treatments they can have.” Not true. The board only recommends cost-saving measures for Medicare, and is legally forbidden to ration care or reduce benefits.
  • Obama said 5 million private-sector jobs had been created in the past 30 months. Perhaps so, but that counts jobs that the Bureau of Labor Statistics won’t add to the official monthly tallies until next year. For now, the official tally is a bit over 4.6 million.
  • Romney accused Obama of doubling the federal deficit. Not true. The annual deficit was already running at $1.2 trillion when Obama took office.
  • Obama again said he’d raise taxes on upper-income persons only to the “rates that we had when Bill Clinton was president.” Actually, many high-income persons would pay more than they did then, because of new taxes in Obama’s health care law.
  • Romney claimed that middle-income Americans have “seen their income come down by $4,300.” That’s too high. Census figures show the decline in median household income during Obama’s first three years was $2,492, even after adjusting for inflation.
  • Obama again touted his “$4 trillion” deficit reduction plan, which includes $1 trillion from winding down wars that are coming to an end in any event.

Years ago, the debates were sponsored by some non-partisan group called the League of Women Voters. After disputes over whether the Dems and Reps would participate in debates that included third parties, they dropped their sponsorship and a group of Dems and a group of Reps formed the Committee for Presidential Debates, and this is who now sponsors them. Note that since they are made up exclusively of D's and R's, they have no interest in allowing third parties in.

The CPD is a 501©3 organization and, as such, they are forbidden in being partisan. That means that they must be NON-PARTISAN, not just bi-partisan! They have set arbitrary, deficult conditions that must be met before any third party candidate is invited to participate in these debates. The only one that Gary Johnson has not met is that he has not yet polled 15% support in any poll. Of course, since they ask only if you are for Obama or Romney, few reply 'I'm for Johnson'!

The biggest corrupting factor in the election process is the enormous warchests of money that the D&R parties amass, mostly to spend on advertising in the broadcast media. Since a candidate such as Johnson spends nothing in the media, it is no surprise that they seem to have a secret agreement to never even mention his name in the mainstream news, otherwise, people may wonder who he is, do a little research, and he may reach well over 15% in the polls.

These efforts amount to nothing less than a conspiracy of the two major parties to keep all of the political power in the U.S. and the perks that go with this power, to the exclusion of all others who are not members of their parties! Is this the American way? Ever heard of the Bull Moose Party?

The debates were scheduled to be sponsored by ten organizations, however, in protest of Gary Johnson's exclusion, three of the ten withdrew their sponsorship just days before last Wednesday's first debate. One would think that such protesting sponsorship withdrawal might be newsworthy, but not a mention of it in most of the mainstream media - one brief story buried in the bowels of the Washington Post verifies the truth of this. My hat's off to Phillips Electronics for this balsy move, also to the YWCA and to BB&H New York, an advertising agency.

Among the other sponsors were Southwest Airlines and Anheuser Busch. I was one of many that contacted each of them protesting their sponsorship of debates that would exclude Governor Johnson, but as far as I know, these protest fell on deaf ears. You may want to remember that next time you consider being customers of these companies.

Jesse Ventura speaks from experience. And his experience scares the crap out of both Democrats and Republicans, because his election success is the very model for a Gary Johnson presidency!

I watched Jesse Ventura debate Peers Morgan on what is happening in our country. These days it is difficult to find information hubs that actually discuss what is going on. Freedom of Speech is being forced out from the corporate social networks. If they do not like what is being said that automatically redirect other users away from reading the message.

There seems to be a conspiracy on the part of all of the broadcast media to avoid even mentioning Gary Johnson's name!

You would think that the withdrawal of three of the ten major sponsors of the debates would be newsworthy, but not to broadcasters.

You would think that, being on the ballot as a candidate for president in every state would make you at least a curiosity! But no...

Gary Johnson is not invited to be on any late night talk shows, his name is never menttioned in the new, it is never listed as an option in any of the polls, etc. etc. You would think that this guy was dangerous or something. And he is, to those who cling to power under the current system, and suckle at the teat of enormous deficit spending (especially military spending), the lobbyist revolving door, and the rest of our corrupt corporate two party system.
