Seminar Topic: Press and 2012 Presidential Election: 6:30-9:00 pm
FORMAT: Editorial Discussion on the role of the Press and the half-a-billion dollars spent thus far on negative ad campaigns in the Republican Primaries, and the couple of billions to be spent in the General Elections will be among other topics of discussion.
PARTICPANTS: 9 journalists including columnists and PR Experts -- led by Maureen Bunyan of WJLA TV, Askia Muhammad, WRC TV, Aaron Gilchrist, Gloria Minott of WPFW.
AFTERNOON PR WORKSHOP: 1-2:30 Pm How To Start Your Own PR Firm Conducted by PR Expert Leila McDowell of Advancement Project.
JOURNALISM WORKSHOP: 2:30-3:30 pm How to Write Your Memoirs & Autobigography conducted by renowned Black Press Historian and Journalist Peter Bailey
