I have a 2006 Jeep Liberty that I purchased Brand New in September 2006 from the Jeep Dealer in New Smyrna Beach, Fl. In the 2 1/2 years that I have owned the vehicle all 4 electric windows have broken and needed the regulator replaced. 3 of the windows were fixed under the original 3/30,000 mile warranty the last window as repaired at my expense of $100.00 under the extended warranty I purchased from the dealership which has expired because I have 62,000 miles on Jeep. Now 2 windows have broken again the driver’s side and the passenger rear window. I don't know of anyone ever who had 6 windows break in 2 years. I do not have children so it's not because of use in the back. They just fell down while I was driving down the road same as the front 2. Now because I cannot afford to fix the 2 broken windows I have jammed paper to hold them up. I cannot imagine this is safe in anyway nor does it represent your product in a positive light. When people ask about the paper sticking out I tell them the story and on it goes. I would like this problem to be fixed at YOUR EXPENSE not mine I have already used time away from work and my own money to fix an obvious manufacturing problem or I just got a big LEMON. I took it to the Daytona Beach, Fl dealer last week and they said it would cost $350.00 to fix the drivers window and that the window system had been re-designed. I would like all 4 of my windows replaced with this new system again at no cost to me nor any inconviences to neither me nor my place of work. If I do not get a satisfactory resolution I will continue to write to anyone and everyone I can think of because NO ONE would every have 6 window regulators break in 2 years. I have been dismissed previously and did not have my problem acknowledged in any. In way no did the dealership nor the warranty department take any responsibility for this problem. Has anyone else had this problem?
