Before the launch of "Halo 3" at September 25, Microsoft Taiwan held "Mayday Fans Meeting" last Sunday (September 16) and "SBL Players Meeting" today, and set experiencing area at PAMC KMall in Taipei on continuous holidays of Moon Festival (September 22 to 25).

A famous Taiwanese Band "Mayday" were invited by Microsoft Taiwan for the voice casting of "Halo 3" and they wrote a theme song named "Zhua Kuang (English Meaning: Crazy)" and produced its special MV with conjunction of "Halo 3" promotional videos. This special video is available before September 25 in the 5th Square of Station Front Metro Mall in Taipei.

When the game begins, Master Chief is back on Earth, where the Covenant loyalists (Brutes, Drones, and Jackals), led by the Prophet of Truth, have laid waste to most of the planet. Covenant ships are hovering over an excavation site a few miles from the ruins of New Mombasa and have uncovered a large artifact in this site (seen in the E3 2006 trailer), and Cortana is still the prisoner of Gravemind. The Arbiter, along with the Elites, Hunters, and some of the Grunts have split from the Covenant during the civil war at the end of Halo 2 and formed an alliance with the UNSC.

The game will not begin right where Halo 2 left off. Instead, the comic mini-series, Halo: Uprising, will bridge the story gap between the ending of Halo 2, and the beginning of Halo 3

Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu gave Halo 3 a 10, 9, 9, 9, which friends, is a pretty darn good review especially from the FPS hating land of Japan.

There are many checkpoints and it is easy to retry the game ... more accessible to FPS beginners ... Halo 3 is undoubtedly the best FPS game in the Japanese console market." We're just curious to know if it had been more appropriate for the Halo 3 tagline to have been something instead of "Finish the Fight" in Japan. Maybe Microsoft could have marketed it as: "Come try the fight." - Famitsu

Has anyone seen the 7’2” tall, 275 lbs. wax figure of Master Chief standing in Madame Tussauds’ in Las Vegas? I want to go there to see it. They are having a huge launch party there.

I know they are opening a Madame Tussauds in Washington, D.C. Maybe they will have Master Chief 2.

Guest DO NOT LIKE HALO

NBC reported that the role of Microsoft's Halo in the "DC Beltway Snipings" and was introduced into evidence in the trial of Lee Boyd Malvo. Halo 3 will breed more killers.

MICROSOFT CORPORATION, INC.,

John Muhammad, knew the efficacy of the first Halo video game in this regard, because the Army in which he served used this same murder simulator to train snipers to kill. Malvo learned well on Halo.
