Yum Yum's & Friends - A social group for artists and creative people is hosting a brunch on March 9th at 11:30 am To purchase a seat at the table please go to www.yumyumsandfriends.com Cashion's Eat Place 1819 Columbia Road NW Washington DC 20009 Cost: $36.00 We will all gather at Cashion's Eat Place for brunch, and to celebrate friendships and the neighborhood of Adams Morgan. This neighborhood has been a fixture in the artist community, and has several spectacular murals. Seems like each year there is a new mural added to the community. If you are a muralist, this neighborhood has to be on your list of places to visit. Here are some examples of a few of the historic murals from the neighborhood. Your choices on the brunch menu are the following: Cinnamon-Sugar Donuts (I have seen very postive reviews about these donuts) Pecan Sticky Bun Cashion's Waffle, D'Anjou Pears, Butter, Virginia Maple Syrup Beer-battered Icelandic Cod, Comeback Sauce, Onion Rings, Lemon Croque Madame, Milky Way Earth Tomme, Sunnyside Eggs, and Baby Romaine Greek Yoghurt with Pomegranates, housemade Granola, and Wildflower Honey Cashion's Shrimp and Grists: Gulf Shrimp, Anson Mills Jalapeno Grists, Andouille Sausage, Local Savory Spinach, Tomato-Shrimp Sauce Organic Chicken Hash, Onion, ;Cilantro, Jalapeno, Scallion, Potatoes, Tomatillo Sauce, Poached Eggs, Pico de Gallo Berry Meade Eggs any-style with cripsy salt-roasted Fingerling Potatoes and Applewood Smoked Bacon or Chicken-Apple Sausage Cashion's Piedmont Ridge Beef Burger, Sunny-Side Egg, Milky Way Smoked Colby, Bacon, Tomato, Onion, housemade Pickle and Mayo, crispy salt-roasted Fingerling Potatoes.   2. If you volunteer for one session of Drink the District: Beer Edition (located at 500 New York Ave just between the Mt. Vernon and Gallery Place metro stops) you can receive a free ticket to another session or 3 free tickets to the Taste of DC festival in October! Volunteers will be asked to greet attendees at the entrance, help sell water and merchandise, and pour brews for our guests! You will receive a free t-shirt in addition to your ticket reward.
