The battle for Al-ASSAD : USraeli-led West against Iran & Co.

It was Hilary Clinton, agreeing with Israeli analysis, who said that Assad has lost legitimacy and that he must go. The Israelis went further and gave Assad until the end of 2012. The British and the French followed suit. Turkey, Jordan, Israel, Egypt, Tunisiaia have already been involved in recruiting, arming and financing Jihadists from all over the world and facilitating their entry into Syria.
On the otherhand, the Iranians and Hizbullah insisted that they will never allow Syria to be ruled by the USraelis and continued sending men, weapons and oil to the besieged Assad regime. After threats and counter threats and thousands of victims and industrial-sclae destruction of Syrian infrastructure, Assad army started to push back the rebels and to regain control of some strategic positions. But two major events may have changed the course of events:
1.The announcement of the Nusrat Front that it is a branch of Al-Qaeda which has finally opened the eyes of the Usraeli-led West. And,
2.The Israeli massive bomardment of Syrian army positions and facilities which brought sympathy for Assad inside and outside the country.
Afraid of being seen as supporters for Al-Qaeda, the Usraeli-led West have finally accepted the Russian plan for a political solution to the Syrian problem. They will also have to accept a role for Iran in any furture negotiations or fonferences.
No matter what will happen, the USraelis have stopped calling on Assad to go and decided on working to limit the effects of Al-Qaeda influence in Syria.
If a winner must be nominated in the battle of Assad, it must be Iran.

Stop Internet Sales Tax

If you are unfamiliar with the proposal before Congress, here is a brief explanation why it is so important for you to stand against this new tax scheme.

Rather than attempting to collect a use tax that is due at the state level, states have gone to the federal government and asked for a new tax regime that poses dangers to the future of business development via the internet, and the regulatory implications will span more than just internet based businesses.

Slippery Slope – Opens the door for further government intervention in the internet and for states to reach across their borders for other taxes.

Too Confusing – Small businesses would be forced to accommodate over 9,000 highly variable state and local tax codes and be required to settle disputes with out of state revenue boards in out of state courts.

Discourages Tax Competition -Rather than competing to lower taxes and attract businesses, states will compete to raise taxes on residents of other states.

Expands State Tax Authority - State Governments will be able to tax across their borders despite clear legal and judicial precedent arguing otherwise.

Threatens Privacy – Business and state revenue boards with a track record of losing private information will have more chances to do so.

That’s why I am asking you to come forward to sign our CITIZENS’ PETITION and join ATR to become part of the most important firewall we have against new taxes and tax increases.
I want to generate at least 100,000 signatures in the next 5 days to show lawmakers in Washington, D.C. that voters are watching their every move and we don’t want internet sales taxes!

So please, sign our PETITION to add your voice to thousands of other outraged Americans and make a contribution of $30 or more at http://nointernettax.atr.org today to help Americans for Tax Reform rally activists and concerned citizens all across the country to stop passage of new internet sales taxes.

Congress is debating passage of the Marketplace Fairness Act, which included new internet sales taxes – which would open the door for host of new, costly taxes on goods and services sold on the internet. Please sign Americans for Tax Reform’s Citizens Petition to let Members of Congress know that you OPPOSE this new internet tax scheme. We need to remind them that voters like you are watching and we will hold them accountable. ACT NOW.

Republican Senators Stop Gun Bill

A few hours ago, President Obama stood with parents who lost children in the Newtown tragedy and said: "All in all, today was a pretty shameful day for Washington."

That's because a minority of senators blocked legislation that would have made America safer and better protected our kids. Forty-five lawmakers stood in the way of improvements to the background check system that would keep guns out of the hands of violent criminals and the mentally unstable -- something that 90 percent of Americans support.

Statement by the President
Rose Garden
5:35 P.M. EDT

MR. BARDEN: Hello. My name is Mark Barden. Just four months ago, my wife Jackie and I lost our son, and our children, James and Natalie, they lost their little brother Daniel. Daniel was a first-grader at Sandy Hook Elementary School. Our sweet, 7-year-old Daniel was one of 20 children, six adults lost on December 14th. I have to say it feels like it was just yesterday.
In our deepest grief, we were supported by the love of our families and comforted by the love and prayers we received from millions of America, from every corner of the country.

What happened in Newtown can happen anywhere. In any instant, any dad in America could be in my shoes. No one should feel the pain. No one should feel our pain or the pain felt by the tens of thousands of people who’ve lost loved ones to senseless gun violence.

And that's why we're here. Two weeks ago, 12 of us from Newtown came to meet with U.S. senators and have a conversation about how to bring common-sense solutions to the issues of gun violence. We came with a sense of hope, optimistic that real conversation could begin that would ultimately save the lives of so many Americans. We met with dozens of Democrats and Republicans and shared with them pictures of our children, our spouses, our parents who lost their lives on December 14th.

Expanded background checks wouldn't have saved our loved ones, but still we came to support the bipartisan proposal from two senators, both with “A” ratings from the NRA -- a common-sense proposal supported by 90 percent of Americans. It‘s a proposal that will save lives without interfering with the rights of responsible, law-abiding gun owners.

We'll return home now, disappointed but not defeated. We return home with the determination that change will happen -- maybe not today, but it will happen. It will happen soon. We've always known this would be a long road, and we don't have the luxury of turning back. We will keep moving forward and build public support for common-sense solutions in the areas of mental health, school safety, and gun safety.

We take strength from the children and loved ones that we lost, and we carry a great faith in the American people.

On behalf of the Sandy Hook Promise, I would like to thank President Obama, Vice President Biden for their leadership and for standing strong and continuing to fight for a safer America. I would like to thank Senators Toomey, Manchin, Schumer and Kirk on coming together to seek common ground on legislation that would keep guns out of the hands of criminals and save lives.
And I would like to thank Connecticut’s Senators Blumenthal and Murphy. They’ve been right with us. They stood by us right from the very beginning. From the first few hours after this tragedy they were with us.

We will not be defeated. We are not defeated, and we will not be defeated. We are here now; we will always be here because we have no other choice. We are not going away. And every day, as more people are killed in this country because of gun violence, our determination grows stronger.

We leave Washington hoping that others, both here and across the country, will join us in making the Sandy Hook Promise, a pledge that we'd had great hope that more U.S. senators would take literally. I'd like to end by repeating the words with which the Sandy Hook Promise begins: Our hearts are broken. Our spirit is not.

Thank you. It is now my great pleasure to introduce the President of the United States of America, Barack Obama.

THE PRESIDENT: A few months ago, in response to too many tragedies -- including the shootings of a United States Congresswoman, Gabby Giffords, who’s here today, and the murder of 20 innocent schoolchildren and their teachers –- this country took up the cause of protecting more of our people from gun violence.

Families that know unspeakable grief summoned the courage to petition their elected leaders –- not just to honor the memory of their children, but to protect the lives of all our children. And a few minutes ago, a minority in the United States Senate decided it wasn’t worth it. They blocked common-sense gun reforms even while these families looked on from the Senate gallery.
By now, it’s well known that 90 percent of the American people support universal background checks that make it harder for a dangerous person to buy a gun. We’re talking about convicted felons, people convicted of domestic violence, people with a severe mental illness. Ninety percent of Americans support that idea. Most Americans think that's already the law.

And a few minutes ago, 90 percent of Democrats in the Senate just voted for that idea. But it’s not going to happen because 90 percent of Republicans in the Senate just voted against that idea.

A majority of senators voted “yes” to protecting more of our citizens with smarter background checks. But by this continuing distortion of Senate rules, a minority was able to block it from moving forward.

I’m going to speak plainly and honestly about what’s happened here because the American people are trying to figure out how can something have 90 percent support and yet not happen. We had a Democrat and a Republican -– both gun owners, both fierce defenders of our Second Amendment, with “A” grades from the NRA -- come together and worked together to write a common-sense compromise on background checks. And I want to thank Joe Manchin and Pat Toomey for their courage in doing that. That was not easy given their traditional strong support for Second Amendment rights.

As they said, nobody could honestly claim that the package they put together infringed on our Second Amendment rights. All it did was extend the same background check rules that already apply to guns purchased from a dealer to guns purchased at gun shows or over the Internet. So 60 percent of guns are already purchased through a background check system; this would have covered a lot of the guns that are currently outside that system.

Their legislation showed respect for gun owners, and it showed respect for the victims of gun violence. And Gabby Giffords, by the way, is both -- she’s a gun owner and a victim of gun violence. She is a Westerner and a moderate. And she supports these background checks.
In fact, even the NRA used to support expanded background checks. The current leader of the NRA used to support these background checks. So while this compromise didn’t contain everything I wanted or everything that these families wanted, it did represent progress. It represented moderation and common sense. That’s why 90 percent of the American people supported it.

But instead of supporting this compromise, the gun lobby and its allies willfully lied about the bill. They claimed that it would create some sort of “big brother” gun registry, even though the bill did the opposite. This legislation, in fact, outlawed any registry. Plain and simple, right there in the text. But that didn’t matter.

And unfortunately, this pattern of spreading untruths about this legislation served a purpose, because those lies upset an intense minority of gun owners, and that in turn intimidated a lot of senators. And I talked to several of these senators over the past few weeks, and they’re all good people. I know all of them were shocked by tragedies like Newtown. And I also understand that they come from states that are strongly pro-gun. And I have consistently said that there are regional differences when it comes to guns, and that both sides have to listen to each other.
But the fact is most of these senators could not offer any good reason why we wouldn’t want to make it harder for criminals and those with severe mental illnesses to buy a gun. There were no coherent arguments as to why we wouldn’t do this. It came down to politics -- the worry that that vocal minority of gun owners would come after them in future elections. They worried that the gun lobby would spend a lot of money and paint them as anti-Second Amendment.

And obviously, a lot of Republicans had that fear, but Democrats had that fear, too. And so they caved to the pressure, and they started looking for an excuse -- any excuse -- to vote “no.”
One common argument I heard was that this legislation wouldn’t prevent all future massacres. And that’s true. As I said from the start, no single piece of legislation can stop every act of violence and evil. We learned that tragically just two days ago. But if action by Congress could have saved one person, one child, a few hundred, a few thousand -- if it could have prevented those people from losing their lives to gun violence in the future while preserving our Second Amendment rights, we had an obligation to try.

And this legislation met that test. And too many senators failed theirs.

I've heard some say that blocking this step would be a victory. And my question is, a victory for who? A victory for what? All that happened today was the preservation of the loophole that lets dangerous criminals buy guns without a background check. That didn’t make our kids safer. Victory for not doing something that 90 percent of Americans, 80 percent of Republicans, the vast majority of your constituents wanted to get done? It begs the question, who are we here to represent?

I've heard folks say that having the families of victims lobby for this legislation was somehow misplaced. "A prop," somebody called them. “Emotional blackmail,” some outlet said. Are they serious? Do we really think that thousands of families whose lives have been shattered by gun violence don’t have a right to weigh in on this issue? Do we think their emotions, their loss is not relevant to this debate?

So all in all, this was a pretty shameful day for Washington.

But this effort is not over. I want to make it clear to the American people we can still bring about meaningful changes that reduce gun violence, so long as the American people don’t give up on it. Even without Congress, my administration will keep doing everything it can to protect more of our communities. We’re going to address the barriers that prevent states from participating in the existing background check system. We’re going to give law enforcement more information about lost and stolen guns so it can do its job. We’re going to help to put in place emergency plans to protect our children in their schools.

But we can do more if Congress gets its act together. And if this Congress refuses to listen to the American people and pass common-sense gun legislation, then the real impact is going to have to come from the voters.

To all the people who supported this legislation -- law enforcement and responsible gun owners, Democrats and Republicans, urban moms, rural hunters, whoever you are -- you need to let your representatives in Congress know that you are disappointed, and that if they don’t act this time, you will remember come election time.

To the wide majority of NRA households who supported this legislation, you need to let your leadership and lobbyists in Washington know they didn’t represent your views on this one.

The point is those who care deeply about preventing more and more gun violence will have to be as passionate, and as organized, and as vocal as those who blocked these common-sense steps to help keep our kids safe. Ultimately, you outnumber those who argued the other way. But they're better organized. They're better financed. They’ve been at it longer. And they make sure to stay focused on this one issue during election time. And that's the reason why you can have something that 90 percent of Americans support and you can't get it through the Senate or the House of Representatives.

So to change Washington, you, the American people, are going to have to sustain some passion about this. And when necessary, you’ve got to send the right people to Washington. And that requires strength, and it requires persistence.

And that's the one thing that these families should have inspired in all of us. I still don't know how they have been able to muster up the strength to do what they’ve doing over the last several weeks, last several months.

And I see this as just round one. When Newtown happened, I met with these families and I spoke to the community, and I said, something must be different right now. We’re going to have to change. That's what the whole country said. Everybody talked about how we were going to change something to make sure this didn't happen again, just like everybody talked about how we needed to do something after Aurora. Everybody talked about we needed change something after Tucson.

And I’m assuming that the emotions that we’ve all felt since Newtown, the emotions that we’ve all felt since Tucson and Aurora and Chicago -- the pain we share with these families and families all across the country who’ve lost a loved one to gun violence -- I’m assuming that's not a temporary thing. I’m assuming our expressions of grief and our commitment to do something different to prevent these things from happening are not empty words.

I believe we’re going to be able to get this done. Sooner or later, we are going to get this right. The memories of these children demand it. And so do the American people.

Thank you very much, everybody.

Can Syria become a graveyard for Al-Qaeda men?

It seems that thousands of Jihadists have travelled or are on their way to Syria in response to the call of Dr Ayman Al-Zawahiri, Al-Qaeda leader. Knowing this, one may ask why the leaders of Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Lebanon, Libya, Egypt, Turkey and Tunisia accept to facilitate the movement of men, money, equipment and weapons through their territories in support of the armed resistance to Dr Al-Assad regime? Furthermore, why the American, the British, the German, the French and the Israeli intelligence and special-forces are directely involved in the training of fighters before sending them across the Turkish or the Jordanian borders to join the fight? Following the long-awaited announcement from the head of the Nusrat Front, that his organisation is in fact a branch of Al-Qaeda; all of above leaders and countries started to run for cover. Because of the large number of players currently involved in Syria, one expects a diversity of tactics and strategies, these are:

The USraelis aim is to fragment Syria and to destroy its armed forces as they constitute a threat to Israel.

Egypt, Jordan, Yemen,Tunisia and Libya want to get rid of the Salafists and hard-core Jihadists.

Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey, UK and US aim at weakening Iran and Hezbullah.

Luring Al-Qaeda men to the killing fields of Syria will strengthen the position of moderate Islamists that accept USraeli designs for the Middle East.

The Iranians and the Russians share with the Americans the need to eliminate Al-Qaeda and allowing moderate resistance fighters to negotiate a way out of the current bloody impasse in Syria.

Iraq will benefit if Al-Qaeda fighters were to leave Ramadi,Tikrit, Diala and Mosul and go to get killed in Syria.

The hedgehog-style hugging between USraelis and Islamists

At the time when pro-American Arabs are financing the armed insurrection in Syria, the USraeli special-forces are training Islamists fighters in Jordan and Turkey. Ironically, Hamas military wing of Al-Qassam Brigade has been supporting the same Syrian opposition groups and is currently training fighters near Damascus in preparation for the final assault on the capital using Vietnamese-style attack tunnels. The situation is extremely puzzling to everyone. Hamas, which is considered as a terrorist organization by the USraelis is aligning itself with the Nusrtat Front, which is also on the USraeli terrorist list. The Nurat Front's fighters are hard-core fundamentalists and Salafists recruited from Tunisia, Iraq, Egypt, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Turkey and Libya. Furthemore, the Nusrat Front is the most active on the ground: using money, training and weapons supplied directly or indirectly by the USraelis, France, the UK, Hamas, Libya, Egypt, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. One has to mention here that Nusrat Front and Hamas are vehement anti-USraelis. So what makes all these hedgehogs hugging each other and fighting in the same trench? The answer is Iran. The Americans have another objective that is to divert Al-Qaeda's attention away from attacking Western targets to attacking those of Arabs and Muslims.
Disregarding all post Assad consequences, the USraeli special-forces will go on hunting down fighters of Hamas and the Nusrat Front.
Ten years on, US and UK War Criminals are still free!

On 19 March 2013, the US and UK soldiers started their march on Baghdad to Israeli drums. It was in 1998 that a Zionist conference in TelAviv drafted a resolution to invade Iraq and to destroy its armed forces. The Zionist conference was attended by Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz, RIchard Rmitage, John Bolton, Richard Perle and a large number of Neo Cons who were later appointed to lead the campaign to disarm Iraq and to establish democracy and the rule of law. The real objectives of the war was to control Iraqi oil, remove a threat to Israel and establish a base for attacking Iran. In this regard, the war was illegal as it was not authorized by the UN and not in self defence. But what did the Israeli-managed UK-US war accomplished after 10 years?Saddam was killed, Iraq was destroyed leaving one million widows and four million orphans. But to the hard luck of Bush, Blair, Dick Cheney, Colin Powell and Rumsfeld no weapons of mass destruction were found nor a link to Alqaeda.
After all the human and material losses, Iraq became a strong base for Al-Qaeda and for Iran. The torture and rape of Abu Ghraib inmates tarnished the civilized image of America and Its allies. While the killing will haunt America and Britain for years to come. There is a very strong revenge culture in Iraq which will
endanger the lives of Americans and British people if they ever venture to visit Iraq.

The British have the habit of giving what they don'T own to those who don't deserve. They did it recently in the Falklands (Malvinas) and in Palestine. While the British want the world to respect and accept the results of the referendum held on 12.03.2013, they have never given the indigenous people of Diego Garcia a similar chance to decide their own future when they were uprooted from their homeland and expelled in 1973 to the slums of Mauritius. That is because the United Kingdom wanted to lease the Island to the Americans to build an airbase and for the CIA to establish a secret prison. One wonders what the UN and the US would have said if Argentine deports all the British from the Falkland to the Slums of Punte Del Fuego?

Popular Leaders Like Chavez will always be opposed by the US

Hugo Chavez has gone but those whom he helped remain living in homes he built, treated in hospitals invested in and their children frequent schools and universities he established. That is after nationalizing the oil industry and investing the oil proceeds not in NY or Swiss banks but on the country infrastructure and on the people. But the poor people are unable to hire journalists or to invest on US lobbyists. To the contrary, the oil companies are able to invest on US Seanatoars and politicians to influence US politics and to castigate Venezuela and tarnish the image of COmmandante Hugo Chavez. That is why the millions of people marching behind Chavez coffin are chanting revolutionary slogans to the displeasure of the US government who choose to side with the oppressors of Latin America and never with the oppressed. It is rather disappointing reading and hearing the statements coming from Obama Whitehouse. One can easily conclude that Uncle Tom Obama is ready to side with those who enslaved the blacks as long as they donate generously to the Democratic Party.

Despite all these crimes Israel is not a Terorist State!!!!

Some of the Known Israeli crimes and violations in the WEST

AUSTRALIA

The Australian foreign ministry was reluctant to pursue the arrest and death of an Australian-Israeli citizen, Ben Zygier who died in Aylon prison by hanging in 2010. Furthermore, Australia didn't act when on January 2010, MOSSAD assassins killed Mohammed Al-Mabhouh using among others, Australian passports, probably obtained by Mr Ben Zygier. Another Australian citizen of Israeli decent is no other that the former nuclear worker Mordachai Vanunu, prevented from leaving Israel after spending 15 years in solitary confinement.

AUSTRIA

The operation to kill Al-Mabhuh in UAE was launched from Austria where an Israeli death squad (Kidon) is situated, assisted by local Jewish people and organizations like El AL airline offices. As far as 1964, Kidon managed to assassinate in Vienna an Iraqi Air force Officer using a prostitute, a nurse and an Iraqi Jew, named Ezra.

BELGIUM

The Mossad is responsible for the killing of Canadian engineer and ballistic expert Gerald Bull on March 22, 1990. He was shot multiple times in the head outside his Brussels apartment. Bull was at the time working on Iraq Project Babylon super Gun.

CYPRUS

MOSSAD had killed Palestinian Hussein Al-Bashir in Nicosia, Cyprus, in 1973.

FRANCE

In France, where MOSSAD maintains a training school, the highets number of MOSSAD assassinations took place, these are:

The killing of Zuheir Mohsen a pro-Syrian member of the PO in 1979.

The killing of Atef Beseiso, a top intelligence officer of thePLO in Paris in 1992. French police believe that a team of assassins followed Atef Bseiso from Berlin, where that first team connected with another team to close in on him in front of a Left Bank hotel, where he received three head-shots at point blank range.

The killing of an Egyptian Scientist Yehia Al-Mashad on June 13, 1980 by an Israeli prostitute; probably by former Israeli foreign Minister Livni who admitted getting approval from the Chief Rabbi to work as a prostitute while employed as MOSSAD agent in France.

The killing of Palestinin Dr. Mahmoud Hamshari, with an exploding telephone in his Paris apartment in 1972.

The killing in 1973 of Dr. Basil Al-Kubaissi, an Iraqi mathematician who represented the PFLP in Paris.

The killing of Mohammad Boudia, member of the PFLP, in Paris in 1973.

On April 5, 1979, Mossad agents have triggered an explosion which destroyed 60 percent of components being built in Toulouse for an Iraqi reactor. The reactor itself was subsequently destroyed by an Israeli air strike in 1981.

The Mossad assisted Moroccan king in the disappearance killing of dissident politician Mehdi Ben Baraka, in 1979
	Germany

The sending of letter bombs during operation Wrath of God. Some of the more famous examples of the Mossad letter bombs were those sent to Nazi war-criminal Alois Brunner.

The targeted killing of Palestinan Dr Wadie Haddad, of PFLP-EO, using poisoned chocolate, in 1978.

Mossad have been involved in industrial espionage in Germany. In the late 1990s, the head of the BfV reportedly warned his department chiefs that Mossad remained a prime threat in stealing the country's latest computer secrets.

GREAT BRITAIN

In 1986, Mossad used an undercover agent (Presumably Robert Maxwell) to lure nuclear whistleblower Mordechai Vanunu from Australia to London where he was later kidnapped and transported to Israel via Italy.

During Margaret Thatcher's days in government, 10 fake British Passports were caught destined for MOSSAD.

GREECE

The killing of Zaiad Muchasi, Fatah representative to Cyprus, by an explosion in his Athens hotel room in 1973

ITALY

The killing of PLO representative Wael Zwaiter.

MALTA

The killing of Fathi Shiqaqi. Shiqaqi a leader of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, was shot several times in the head in 1995 in front of the Diplomat Hotel in Sliema, Malta.

NORWAY

On July 21, 1973, Ahmed Bouchiki, a Moroccan waiter in Lillehammer, Norway, was killed by Mossad agents. He had been mistaken for Palestinian Ali Hassan Salameh. The Mossad agents had used fake Canadian passports. Six Mossad agents were arrested then released after paying compensation to the Bouchiki family.

SWITZERLAND

In February 1998, five Mossad agents were caught wiretapping the home of a <a href="file:///wiki/Hezbollah">Hezbollah agent in a Bern suburb. Four agents were freed, but the fifth was tried, found guilty, sentenced to one year in prison, and following his release was banned from entering Switzerland for five years.

	Ukraine

In February 2011, a Palestinian engineer, Dirar Abu Seesi, was pulled off a train by Mossad agents en route to the capital Kiev from Kharkiv. He had been planning to apply for Ukrainian citizenship, and reappeared in an Israeli jail only 3 weeks after the incident

Israel is also accused of posioning president Yasser Arafat.

Right now, a branch of Kidon is established in Azerbaijan launching operations to assassinate Iranian nuclear scientists.

It is clear that MOSSAD may get the credit but it is helped and protected by the US-led West.

It is a travesty of logic that a terrorist* like Bibi Netanyahu calls on the European Union to treat Hizbullah as a terrorist organization while is on the head of a government with so much assassinations and crimes in the the various countries of the European Union.

Adnan Darwash, Iraq Occupation Times

In 1978, Bibi Netanyahu led a commando unit that blown up 10 civilian air crafts at Beirut Airport. It was the US veto that protected Israel and Netanyahu from being labeled as terrorists by the UN. Before that, Menachem Begin and Itzhaq Shamir were considered as terrorists by the British Empire and went to become Israeli Prime ministers.

State of the Union 2013

President Barack Obama's State of the Union Address — as delivered
Tuesday February 12, 2013

THE PRESIDENT: Mr. Speaker, Mr. Vice President, members of Congress, fellow citizens:

Fifty-one years ago, John F Kennedy declared to this chamber that “the Constitution makes us not rivals for power but partners for progress.” “It is my task,” he said, “to report the State of the Union -- to improve it is the task of us all.”

Tonight, thanks to the grit and determination of the American people, there is much progress to report. After a decade of grinding war, our brave men and women in uniform are coming home. After years of grueling recession, our businesses have created over six million new jobs. We buy more American cars than we have in five years, and less foreign oil than we have in 20. Our housing market is healing, our stock market is rebounding, and consumers, patients, and homeowners enjoy stronger protections than ever before.

So, together, we have cleared away the rubble of crisis, and we can say with renewed confidence that the State of our Union is stronger.

But we gather here knowing that there are millions of Americans whose hard work and dedication have not yet been rewarded. Our economy is adding jobs -- but too many people still can’t find full-time employment. Corporate profits have skyrocketed to all-time highs -- but for more than a decade, wages and incomes have barely budged.

It is our generation’s task, then, to reignite the true engine of America’s economic growth -- a rising, thriving middle class.

It is our unfinished task to restore the basic bargain that built this country -- the idea that if you work hard and meet your responsibilities, you can get ahead, no matter where you come from, no matter what you look like, or who you love.

It is our unfinished task to make sure that this government works on behalf of the many, and not just the few; that it encourages free enterprise, rewards individual initiative, and opens the doors of opportunity to every child across this great nation.

The American people don’t expect government to solve every problem. They don’t expect those of us in this chamber to agree on every issue. But they do expect us to put the nation’s interests before party. They do expect us to forge reasonable compromise where we can. For they know that America moves forward only when we do so together, and that the responsibility of improving this union remains the task of us all.

Our work must begin by making some basic decisions about our budget -- decisions that will have a huge impact on the strength of our recovery.

Over the last few years, both parties have worked together to reduce the deficit by more than $2.5 trillion -- mostly through spending cuts, but also by raising tax rates on the wealthiest 1 percent of Americans. As a result, we are more than halfway towards the goal of $4 trillion in deficit reduction that economists say we need to stabilize our finances.

Now we need to finish the job. And the question is, how?

In 2011, Congress passed a law saying that if both parties couldn’t agree on a plan to reach our deficit goal, about a trillion dollars’ worth of budget cuts would automatically go into effect this year. These sudden, harsh, arbitrary cuts would jeopardize our military readiness. They’d devastate priorities like education, and energy, and medical research. They would certainly slow our recovery, and cost us hundreds of thousands of jobs. That’s why Democrats, Republicans, business leaders, and economists have already said that these cuts, known here in Washington as the sequester, are a really bad idea.

Now, some in Congress have proposed preventing only the defense cuts by making even bigger cuts to things like education and job training, Medicare and Social Security benefits. That idea is even worse.

Yes, the biggest driver of our long-term debt is the rising cost of health care for an aging population. And those of us who care deeply about programs like Medicare must embrace the need for modest reforms -- otherwise, our retirement programs will crowd out the investments we need for our children, and jeopardize the promise of a secure retirement for future generations.

But we can’t ask senior citizens and working families to shoulder the entire burden of deficit reduction while asking nothing more from the wealthiest and the most powerful. We won’t grow the middle class simply by shifting the cost of health care or college onto families that are already struggling, or by forcing communities to lay off more teachers and more cops and more firefighters. Most Americans -- Democrats, Republicans, and independents -- understand that we can’t just cut our way to prosperity. They know that broad-based economic growth requires a balanced approach to deficit reduction, with spending cuts and revenue, and with everybody doing their fair share. And that’s the approach I offer tonight.

On Medicare, I’m prepared to enact reforms that will achieve the same amount of health care savings by the beginning of the next decade as the reforms proposed by the bipartisan Simpson-Bowles commission.

Already, the Affordable Care Act is helping to slow the growth of health care costs. And the reforms I’m proposing go even further. We’ll reduce taxpayer subsidies to prescription drug companies and ask more from the wealthiest seniors. We’ll bring down costs by changing the way our government pays for Medicare, because our medical bills shouldn’t be based on the number of tests ordered or days spent in the hospital; they should be based on the quality of care that our seniors receive. And I am open to additional reforms from both parties, so long as they don’t violate the guarantee of a secure retirement. Our government shouldn’t make promises we cannot keep -- but we must keep the promises we’ve already made.

To hit the rest of our deficit reduction target, we should do what leaders in both parties have already suggested, and save hundreds of billions of dollars by getting rid of tax loopholes and deductions for the well-off and the well-connected. After all, why would we choose to make deeper cuts to education and Medicare just to protect special interest tax breaks? How is that fair? Why is it that deficit reduction is a big emergency justifying making cuts in Social Security benefits but not closing some loopholes? How does that promote growth?

Now is our best chance for bipartisan, comprehensive tax reform that encourages job creation and helps bring down the deficit. We can get this done. The American people deserve a tax code that helps small businesses spend less time filling out complicated forms, and more time expanding and hiring -- a tax code that ensures billionaires with high-powered accountants can’t work the system and pay a lower rate than their hardworking secretaries; a tax code that lowers incentives to move jobs overseas, and lowers tax rates for businesses and manufacturers that are creating jobs right here in the United States of America. That’s what tax reform can deliver. That’s what we can do together.

I realize that tax reform and entitlement reform will not be easy. The politics will be hard for both sides. None of us will get 100 percent of what we want. But the alternative will cost us jobs, hurt our economy, visit hardship on millions of hardworking Americans. So let’s set party interests aside and work to pass a budget that replaces reckless cuts with smart savings and wise investments in our future. And let’s do it without the brinksmanship that stresses consumers and scares off investors. The greatest nation on Earth cannot keep conducting its business by drifting from one manufactured crisis to the next. We can't do it.

Let’s agree right here, right now to keep the people’s government open, and pay our bills on time, and always uphold the full faith and credit of the United States of America. The American people have worked too hard, for too long, rebuilding from one crisis to see their elected officials cause another.

Now, most of us agree that a plan to reduce the deficit must be part of our agenda. But let’s be clear, deficit reduction alone is not an economic plan. A growing economy that creates good, middle-class jobs -- that must be the North Star that guides our efforts. Every day, we should ask ourselves three questions as a nation: How do we attract more jobs to our shores? How do we equip our people with the skills they need to get those jobs? And how do we make sure that hard work leads to a decent living?

A year and a half ago, I put forward an American Jobs Act that independent economists said would create more than 1 million new jobs. And I thank the last Congress for passing some of that agenda. I urge this Congress to pass the rest. But tonight, I’ll lay out additional proposals that are fully paid for and fully consistent with the budget framework both parties agreed to just 18 months ago. Let me repeat -- nothing I’m proposing tonight should increase our deficit by a single dime. It is not a bigger government we need, but a smarter government that sets priorities and invests in broad-based growth. That's what we should be looking for.

Our first priority is making America a magnet for new jobs and manufacturing. After shedding jobs for more than 10 years, our manufacturers have added about 500,000 jobs over the past three. Caterpillar is bringing jobs back from Japan. Ford is bringing jobs back from Mexico. And this year, Apple will start making Macs in America again.

There are things we can do, right now, to accelerate this trend. Last year, we created our first manufacturing innovation institute in Youngstown, Ohio. A once-shuttered warehouse is now a state-of-the art lab where new workers are mastering the 3D printing that has the potential to revolutionize the way we make almost everything. There’s no reason this can’t happen in other towns.

So tonight, I’m announcing the launch of three more of these manufacturing hubs, where businesses will partner with the Department of Defense and Energy to turn regions left behind by globalization into global centers of high-tech jobs. And I ask this Congress to help create a network of 15 of these hubs and guarantee that the next revolution in manufacturing is made right here in America. We can get that done.

Now, if we want to make the best products, we also have to invest in the best ideas. Every dollar we invested to map the human genome returned $140 to our economy -- every dollar. Today, our scientists are mapping the human brain to unlock the answers to Alzheimer’s. They’re developing drugs to regenerate damaged organs; devising new material to make batteries 10 times more powerful. Now is not the time to gut these job-creating investments in science and innovation. Now is the time to reach a level of research and development not seen since the height of the Space Race. We need to make those investments.

Today, no area holds more promise than our investments in American energy. After years of talking about it, we’re finally poised to control our own energy future. We produce more oil at home than we have in 15 years. We have doubled the distance our cars will go on a gallon of gas, and the amount of renewable energy we generate from sources like wind and solar -- with tens of thousands of good American jobs to show for it. We produce more natural gas than ever before -- and nearly everyone’s energy bill is lower because of it. And over the last four years, our emissions of the dangerous carbon pollution that threatens our planet have actually fallen.

But for the sake of our children and our future, we must do more to combat climate change. Now, it’s true that no single event makes a trend. But the fact is the 12 hottest years on record have all come in the last 15. Heat waves, droughts, wildfires, floods -- all are now more frequent and more intense. We can choose to believe that Superstorm Sandy, and the most severe drought in decades, and the worst wildfires some states have ever seen were all just a freak coincidence. Or we can choose to believe in the overwhelming judgment of science -- and act before it’s too late.

Now, the good news is we can make meaningful progress on this issue while driving strong economic growth. I urge this Congress to get together, pursue a bipartisan, market-based solution to climate change, like the one John McCain and Joe Lieberman worked on together a few years ago. But if Congress won’t act soon to protect future generations, I will. I will direct my Cabinet to come up with executive actions we can take, now and in the future, to reduce pollution, prepare our communities for the consequences of climate change, and speed the transition to more sustainable sources of energy.

Four years ago, other countries dominated the clean energy market and the jobs that came with it. And we’ve begun to change that. Last year, wind energy added nearly half of all new power capacity in America. So let’s generate even more. Solar energy gets cheaper by the year -- let’s drive down costs even further. As long as countries like China keep going all in on clean energy, so must we.

Now, in the meantime, the natural gas boom has led to cleaner power and greater energy independence. We need to encourage that. And that’s why my administration will keep cutting red tape and speeding up new oil and gas permits. That’s got to be part of an all-of-the-above plan. But I also want to work with this Congress to encourage the research and technology that helps natural gas burn even cleaner and protects our air and our water.

In fact, much of our new-found energy is drawn from lands and waters that we, the public, own together. So tonight, I propose we use some of our oil and gas revenues to fund an Energy Security Trust that will drive new research and technology to shift our cars and trucks off oil for good. If a nonpartisan coalition of CEOs and retired generals and admirals can get behind this idea, then so can we. Let’s take their advice and free our families and businesses from the painful spikes in gas prices we’ve put up with for far too long.

I’m also issuing a new goal for America: Let’s cut in half the energy wasted by our homes and businesses over the next 20 years. We'll work with the states to do it. Those states with the best ideas to create jobs and lower energy bills by constructing more efficient buildings will receive federal support to help make that happen.

America’s energy sector is just one part of an aging infrastructure badly in need of repair. Ask any CEO where they’d rather locate and hire -- a country with deteriorating roads and bridges, or one with high-speed rail and Internet; high-tech schools, self-healing power grids. The CEO of Siemens America -- a company that brought hundreds of new jobs to North Carolina -- said that if we upgrade our infrastructure, they’ll bring even more jobs. And that’s the attitude of a lot of companies all around the world. And I know you want these job-creating projects in your district. I’ve seen all those ribbon-cuttings.

So tonight, I propose a “Fix-It-First” program to put people to work as soon as possible on our most urgent repairs, like the nearly 70,000 structurally deficient bridges across the country And to make sure taxpayers don’t shoulder the whole burden, I’m also proposing a Partnership to Rebuild America that attracts private capital to upgrade what our businesses need most: modern ports to move our goods, modern pipelines to withstand a storm, modern schools worthy of our children. Let’s prove that there’s no better place to do business than here in the United States of America, and let’s start right away. We can get this done.

And part of our rebuilding effort must also involve our housing sector. The good news is our housing market is finally healing from the collapse of 2007. Home prices are rising at the fastest pace in six years. Home purchases are up nearly 50 percent, and construction is expanding again.

But even with mortgage rates near a 50-year low, too many families with solid credit who want to buy a home are being rejected. Too many families who never missed a payment and want to refinance are being told no. That’s holding our entire economy back. We need to fix it.

Right now, there’s a bill in this Congress that would give every responsible homeowner in America the chance to save $3,000 a year by refinancing at today’s rates. Democrats and Republicans have supported it before, so what are we waiting for? Take a vote, and send me that bill. Why would we be against that? Why would that be a partisan issue, helping folks refinance? Right now, overlapping regulations keep responsible young families from buying their first home. What’s holding us back? Let’s streamline the process, and help our economy grow.

These initiatives in manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, housing -- all these things will help entrepreneurs and small business owners expand and create new jobs. But none of it will matter unless we also equip our citizens with the skills and training to fill those jobs.

And that has to start at the earliest possible age. Study after study shows that the sooner a child begins learning, the better he or she does down the road. But today, fewer than 3 in 10 four year-olds are enrolled in a high-quality preschool program. Most middle-class parents can’t afford a few hundred bucks a week for a private preschool. And for poor kids who need help the most, this lack of access to preschool education can shadow them for the rest of their lives. So tonight, I propose working with states to make high-quality preschool available to every single child in America. That's something we should be able to do.

Every dollar we invest in high-quality early childhood education can save more than seven dollars later on -- by boosting graduation rates, reducing teen pregnancy, even reducing violent crime. In states that make it a priority to educate our youngest children, like Georgia or Oklahoma, studies show students grow up more likely to read and do math at grade level, graduate high school, hold a job, form more stable families of their own. We know this works. So let’s do what works and make sure none of our children start the race of life already behind. Let’s give our kids that chance.

Let’s also make sure that a high school diploma puts our kids on a path to a good job. Right now, countries like Germany focus on graduating their high school students with the equivalent of a technical degree from one of our community colleges. So those German kids, they're ready for a job when they graduate high school. They've been trained for the jobs that are there. Now at schools like P-Tech in Brooklyn, a collaboration between New York Public Schools and City University of New York and IBM, students will graduate with a high school diploma and an associate's degree in computers or engineering. We need to give every American student opportunities like this.

And four years ago, we started Race to the Top -- a competition that convinced almost every state to develop smarter curricula and higher standards, all for about 1 percent of what we spend on education each year. Tonight, I’m announcing a new challenge to redesign America’s high schools so they better equip graduates for the demands of a high-tech economy. And we’ll reward schools that develop new partnerships with colleges and employers, and create classes that focus on science, technology, engineering and math -- the skills today’s employers are looking for to fill the jobs that are there right now and will be there in the future.

Now, even with better high schools, most young people will need some higher education. It’s a simple fact the more education you’ve got, the more likely you are to have a good job and work your way into the middle class. But today, skyrocketing costs price too many young people out of a higher education, or saddle them with unsustainable debt.

Through tax credits, grants and better loans, we’ve made college more affordable for millions of students and families over the last few years. But taxpayers can’t keep on subsidizing higher and higher and higher costs for higher education. Colleges must do their part to keep costs down, and it’s our job to make sure that they do.

So tonight, I ask Congress to change the Higher Education Act so that affordability and value are included in determining which colleges receive certain types of federal aid.And tomorrow, my administration will release a new “College Scorecard” that parents and students can use to compare schools based on a simple criteria -- where you can get the most bang for your educational buck.

Now, to grow our middle class, our citizens have to have access to the education and training that today’s jobs require. But we also have to make sure that America remains a place where everyone who’s willing to work -- everybody who’s willing to work hard has the chance to get ahead.

Our economy is stronger when we harness the talents and ingenuity of striving, hopeful immigrants. And right now, leaders from the business, labor, law enforcement, faith communities -- they all agree that the time has come to pass comprehensive immigration reform. Now is the time to do it. Now is the time to get it done. Now is the time to get it done.

Real reform means strong border security, and we can build on the progress my administration has already made -- putting more boots on the Southern border than at any time in our history and reducing illegal crossings to their lowest levels in 40 years.

Real reform means establishing a responsible pathway to earned citizenship -- a path that includes passing a background check, paying taxes and a meaningful penalty, learning English, and going to the back of the line behind the folks trying to come here legally.

And real reform means fixing the legal immigration system to cut waiting periods and attract the highly-skilled entrepreneurs and engineers that will help create jobs and grow our economy.

In other words, we know what needs to be done. And as we speak, bipartisan groups in both chambers are working diligently to draft a bill, and I applaud their efforts. So let’s get this done. Send me a comprehensive immigration reform bill in the next few months, and I will sign it right away. And America will be better for it. Let’s get it done. Let’s get it done.

But we can’t stop there. We know our economy is stronger when our wives, our mothers, our daughters can live their lives free from discrimination in the workplace, and free from the fear of domestic violence. Today, the Senate passed the Violence Against Women Act that Joe Biden originally wrote almost 20 years ago. And I now urge the House to do the same. Good job, Joe. And I ask this Congress to declare that women should earn a living equal to their efforts, and finally pass the Paycheck Fairness Act this year.

We know our economy is stronger when we reward an honest day’s work with honest wages. But today, a full-time worker making the minimum wage earns $14,500 a year. Even with the tax relief we put in place, a family with two kids that earns the minimum wage still lives below the poverty line. That’s wrong. That’s why, since the last time this Congress raised the minimum wage, 19 states have chosen to bump theirs even higher.

Tonight, let’s declare that in the wealthiest nation on Earth, no one who works full-time should have to live in poverty, and raise the federal minimum wage to $9.00 an hour.We should be able to get that done.

This single step would raise the incomes of millions of working families. It could mean the difference between groceries or the food bank; rent or eviction; scraping by or finally getting ahead. For businesses across the country, it would mean customers with more money in their pockets. And a whole lot of folks out there would probably need less help from government. In fact, working folks shouldn’t have to wait year after year for the minimum wage to go up while CEO pay has never been higher. So here’s an idea that Governor Romney and I actually agreed on last year -- let’s tie the minimum wage to the cost of living, so that it finally becomes a wage you can live on.

Tonight, let’s also recognize that there are communities in this country where no matter how hard you work, it is virtually impossible to get ahead. Factory towns decimated from years of plants packing up. Inescapable pockets of poverty, urban and rural, where young adults are still fighting for their first job. America is not a place where the chance of birth or circumstance should decide our destiny. And that’s why we need to build new ladders of opportunity into the middle class for all who are willing to climb them.

Let’s offer incentives to companies that hire Americans who’ve got what it takes to fill that job opening, but have been out of work so long that no one will give them a chance anymore. Let’s put people back to work rebuilding vacant homes in run-down neighborhoods. And this year, my administration will begin to partner with 20 of the hardest-hit towns in America to get these communities back on their feet. We’ll work with local leaders to target resources at public safety, and education, and housing.

We’ll give new tax credits to businesses that hire and invest. And we’ll work to strengthen families by removing the financial deterrents to marriage for low-income couples, and do more to encourage fatherhood -- because what makes you a man isn’t the ability to conceive a child; it’s having the courage to raise one. And we want to encourage that. We want to help that

Stronger families. Stronger communities. A stronger America. It is this kind of prosperity -- broad, shared, built on a thriving middle class -- that has always been the source of our progress at home. It’s also the foundation of our power and influence throughout the world.

Tonight, we stand united in saluting the troops and civilians who sacrifice every day to protect us. Because of them, we can say with confidence that America will complete its mission in Afghanistan and achieve our objective of defeating the core of al Qaeda.

Already, we have brought home 33,000 of our brave servicemen and women. This spring, our forces will move into a support role, while Afghan security forces take the lead. Tonight, I can announce that over the next year, another 34,000 American troops will come home from Afghanistan. This drawdown will continue and by the end of next year, our war in Afghanistan will be over.

Beyond 2014, America’s commitment to a unified and sovereign Afghanistan will endure, but the nature of our commitment will change. We're negotiating an agreement with the Afghan government that focuses on two missions -- training and equipping Afghan forces so that the country does not again slip into chaos, and counterterrorism efforts that allow us to pursue the remnants of al Qaeda and their affiliates.

Today, the organization that attacked us on 9/11 is a shadow of its former self. It's true, different al Qaeda affiliates and extremist groups have emerged -- from the Arabian Peninsula to Africa. The threat these groups pose is evolving. But to meet this threat, we don’t need to send tens of thousands of our sons and daughters abroad or occupy other nations. Instead, we'll need to help countries like Yemen, and Libya, and Somalia provide for their own security, and help allies who take the fight to terrorists, as we have in Mali. And where necessary, through a range of capabilities, we will continue to take direct action against those terrorists who pose the gravest threat to Americans.

Now, as we do, we must enlist our values in the fight. That's why my administration has worked tirelessly to forge a durable legal and policy framework to guide our counterterrorism efforts. Throughout, we have kept Congress fully informed of our efforts. I recognize that in our democracy, no one should just take my word for it that we’re doing things the right way. So in the months ahead, I will continue to engage Congress to ensure not only that our targeting, detention and prosecution of terrorists remains consistent with our laws and system of checks and balances, but that our efforts are even more transparent to the American people and to the world.

Of course, our challenges don’t end with al Qaeda. America will continue to lead the effort to prevent the spread of the world’s most dangerous weapons. The regime in North Korea must know they will only achieve security and prosperity by meeting their international obligations. Provocations of the sort we saw last night will only further isolate them, as we stand by our allies, strengthen our own missile defense and lead the world in taking firm action in response to these threats.

Likewise, the leaders of Iran must recognize that now is the time for a diplomatic solution, because a coalition stands united in demanding that they meet their obligations, and we will do what is necessary to prevent them from getting a nuclear weapon

At the same time, we’ll engage Russia to seek further reductions in our nuclear arsenals, and continue leading the global effort to secure nuclear materials that could fall into the wrong hands -- because our ability to influence others depends on our willingness to lead and meet our obligations.

America must also face the rapidly growing threat from cyber-attacks. Now, we know hackers steal people’s identities and infiltrate private emails. We know foreign countries and companies swipe our corporate secrets. Now our enemies are also seeking the ability to sabotage our power grid, our financial institutions, our air traffic control systems. We cannot look back years from now and wonder why we did nothing in the face of real threats to our security and our economy.

And that’s why, earlier today, I signed a new executive order that will strengthen our cyber defenses by increasing information sharing, and developing standards to protect our national security, our jobs, and our privacy.

But now Congress must act as well, by passing legislation to give our government a greater capacity to secure our networks and deter attacks. This is something we should be able to get done on a bipartisan basis.

Now, even as we protect our people, we should remember that today’s world presents not just dangers, not just threats, it presents opportunities. To boost American exports, support American jobs and level the playing field in the growing markets of Asia, we intend to complete negotiations on a Trans-Pacific Partnership. And tonight, I’m announcing that we will launch talks on a comprehensive Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership with the European Union -- because trade that is fair and free across the Atlantic supports millions of good-paying American jobs.

We also know that progress in the most impoverished parts of our world enriches us all -- not only because it creates new markets, more stable order in certain regions of the world, but also because it’s the right thing to do. In many places, people live on little more than a dollar a day. So the United States will join with our allies to eradicate such extreme poverty in the next two decades by connecting more people to the global economy; by empowering women; by giving our young and brightest minds new opportunities to serve, and helping communities to feed, and power, and educate themselves; by saving the world’s children from preventable deaths; and by realizing the promise of an AIDS-free generation, which is within our reach.

You see, America must remain a beacon to all who seek freedom during this period of historic change. I saw the power of hope last year in Rangoon, in Burma, when Aung San Suu Kyi welcomed an American President into the home where she had been imprisoned for years; when thousands of Burmese lined the streets, waving American flags, including a man who said, “There is justice and law in the United States. I want our country to be like that.”

In defense of freedom, we’ll remain the anchor of strong alliances from the Americas to Africa; from Europe to Asia. In the Middle East, we will stand with citizens as they demand their universal rights, and support stable transitions to democracy.

We know the process will be messy, and we cannot presume to dictate the course of change in countries like Egypt, but we can -- and will -- insist on respect for the fundamental rights of all people. We’ll keep the pressure on a Syrian regime that has murdered its own people, and support opposition leaders that respect the rights of every Syrian. And we will stand steadfast with Israel in pursuit of security and a lasting peace.

These are the messages I'll deliver when I travel to the Middle East next month. And all this work depends on the courage and sacrifice of those who serve in dangerous places at great personal risk –- our diplomats, our intelligence officers, and the men and women of the United States Armed Forces. As long as I’m Commander-in-Chief, we will do whatever we must to protect those who serve their country abroad, and we will maintain the best military the world has ever known.

We'll invest in new capabilities, even as we reduce waste and wartime spending. We will ensure equal treatment for all servicemembers, and equal benefits for their families -- gay and straight. We will draw upon the courage and skills of our sisters and daughters and moms, because women have proven under fire that they are ready for combat.

We will keep faith with our veterans, investing in world-class care, including mental health care, for our wounded warriors -- (applause) -- supporting our military families; giving our veterans the benefits and education and job opportunities that they have earned. And I want to thank my wife, Michelle, and Dr. Jill Biden for their continued dedication to serving our military families as well as they have served us. Thank you, honey. Thank you, Jill.

Defending our freedom, though, is not just the job of our military alone. We must all do our part to make sure our God-given rights are protected here at home. That includes one of the most fundamental right of a democracy: the right to vote. When any American, no matter where they live or what their party, are denied that right because they can’t afford to wait for five or six or seven hours just to cast their ballot, we are betraying our ideals.

So tonight, I’m announcing a nonpartisan commission to improve the voting experience in America. And it definitely needs improvement. I’m asking two long-time experts in the field -- who, by the way, recently served as the top attorneys for my campaign and for Governor Romney’s campaign -- to lead it. We can fix this, and we will. The American people demand it, and so does our democracy.

Of course, what I’ve said tonight matters little if we don’t come together to protect our most precious resource: our children. It has been two months since Newtown. I know this is not the first time this country has debated how to reduce gun violence. But this time is different. Overwhelming majorities of Americans -- Americans who believe in the Second Amendment -- have come together around common-sense reform, like background checks that will make it harder for criminals to get their hands on a gun. Senators of both parties are working together on tough new laws to prevent anyone from buying guns for resale to criminals. Police chiefs are asking our help to get weapons of war and massive ammunition magazines off our streets, because these police chiefs, they’re tired of seeing their guys and gals being outgunned.

Each of these proposals deserves a vote in Congress. Now, if you want to vote no, that’s your choice. But these proposals deserve a vote. Because in the two months since Newtown, more than a thousand birthdays, graduations, anniversaries have been stolen from our lives by a bullet from a gun -- more than a thousand.

One of those we lost was a young girl named Hadiya Pendleton. She was 15 years old. She loved Fig Newtons and lip gloss. She was a majorette. She was so good to her friends they all thought they were her best friend. Just three weeks ago, she was here, in Washington, with her classmates, performing for her country at my inauguration. And a week later, she was shot and killed in a Chicago park after school, just a mile away from my house.

Hadiya’s parents, Nate and Cleo, are in this chamber tonight, along with more than two dozen Americans whose lives have been torn apart by gun violence. They deserve a vote. They deserve a vote. Gabby Giffords deserves a vote. The families of Newtown deserve a vote. The families of Aurora deserve a vote. The families of Oak Creek and Tucson and Blacksburg, and the countless other communities ripped open by gun violence –- they deserve a simple vote. They deserve a simple vote.

Our actions will not prevent every senseless act of violence in this country. In fact, no laws, no initiatives, no administrative acts will perfectly solve all the challenges I’ve outlined tonight. But we were never sent here to be perfect. We were sent here to make what difference we can, to secure this nation, expand opportunity, uphold our ideals through the hard, often frustrating, but absolutely necessary work of self-government.

We were sent here to look out for our fellow Americans the same way they look out for one another, every single day, usually without fanfare, all across this country. We should follow their example.

We should follow the example of a New York City nurse named Menchu Sanchez. When Hurricane Sandy plunged her hospital into darkness, she wasn’t thinking about how her own home was faring. Her mind was on the 20 precious newborns in her care and the rescue plan she devised that kept them all safe.

We should follow the example of a North Miami woman named Desiline Victor. When Desiline arrived at her polling place, she was told the wait to vote might be six hours. And as time ticked by, her concern was not with her tired body or aching feet, but whether folks like her would get to have their say. And hour after hour, a throng of people stayed in line to support her -- because Desiline is 102 years old. And they erupted in cheers when she finally put on a sticker that read, “I voted.

We should follow the example of a police officer named Brian Murphy. When a gunman opened fire on a Sikh temple in Wisconsin and Brian was the first to arrive, he did not consider his own safety. He fought back until help arrived and ordered his fellow officers to protect the safety of the Americans worshiping inside, even as he lay bleeding from 12 bullet wounds. And when asked how he did that, Brian said, “That’s just the way we’re made.”

That’s just the way we’re made. We may do different jobs and wear different uniforms, and hold different views than the person beside us. But as Americans, we all share the same proud title -- we are citizens. It’s a word that doesn’t just describe our nationality or legal status. It describes the way we’re made. It describes what we believe. It captures the enduring idea that this country only works when we accept certain obligations to one another and to future generations, that our rights are wrapped up in the rights of others; and that well into our third century as a nation, it remains the task of us all, as citizens of these United States, to be the authors of the next great chapter of our American story.

Thank you. God bless you, and God bless these United States of America

Why the Senators didn’t ask Clinton about US foreign policy?

Today 23.01.13, the Senate Foreign Relation Committee asked Secretary of State Hilary Clinton about the attack on the US consulate in Benghazi, Libya and the killing of US Ambassador on September 11, 2012. But as usual, the questions of the well-groomed Senators created neither heat nor light. The emphasis was mainly on the inadequacy of the security measure at the consulate; which is basically outside her terms of reference. It would nave been more appropriate for the Senate Foreign Relation Committee to ask the Secretary of State about the failure of US foreign policy which causes so much hatred for anything American: including the facilities and personnel of Diplomatic missions, Oil Corporations and even Educational Institutions. It is not enough to talk about training of police officers in Tunis, Cairo or Amman or in asking for an increase in the budgetary allocations of the State Department. It is much more than this. To start with, people don’t believe that the US promotes democracy and freedom with its long-term flirting with ruthless Dictators and embracing the backward Saudi regime. America doesn’t pay attention to human rights with kidnapping, torture and detention of people without trial at Guantanamo bay. The Americans arm, finance and support the rogue state of Israel despite being in breach of 39 UN Security council resolutions. The Americans are killing people with impunity using drones. And finally, the Americans are imposing sanctions on mostly Muslim countries. The above are the reasons which cause so much anti-American feeling in most Muslim and Arab countries and in generating support for people like Al.Qaeda. If the current US foreign policy continues no amount of security would protect US interests and it will be beyond the capability of able Clinton or her successor, John Kerry.

France may trigger a war between the West and the Islamists

The West and the Islamists have agendas that may meet or contradict each other. Secular leaders like Saddam, Assad and Gaddafi have imprisoned, tortured and killed Islamists, sometimes with Western help. As a tactic, the fundamentalists accepted Western help to topple secular governments hoping to settle scores with the USraeli-led West on a later date. This is precisely what has happened in Libya where the US ambassador, Christopher Evans was killed on September 11, 2012, the 11th anniversary of 9/11 by no other than Al-Qaeda men. These 'rebels' were financed by Qatar and Saudi Arabia, supported by Jordanian, British and French Special-forces on the ground, armed by the CIA and its affiliated agencies, NATO planes were used as their airforce while the US cruise missiles pestered Gaddafi radars and defences.

The attack on the US consulate in Benghazi was in retaliation for the role of the CIA and MI-6 in the arrest and handing of Libyan Islamists to Gaddafi where they were imprisoned and torured.

The on-going French-led war on Islamists in Mali may trigger an open war between the militant Islamists with their newly found strength and the West, threatening Western interests and nations from Nigeria to Somalia. Ironically, the rebels in Mali use arms supplied to them in Libya by former president of France, N. Sarkozy in order to topple Gaddafi.

As long as the Wise Europeans are infected with the chronically short sighted US foreign policy, there will be more ironies, miltary interventions and violence. The US plays a major role in the appointment of key officials in NATO, the European Union and individual European Governments, mainly to serve US interests and ensuring the security of Israel; not necessarily to serve Europe's Vital interests.
James Chapter One

Quote

19 You know, my beloved brethren; but let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath;

20 for the wrath of man works not the righteousness of God.

21 Wherefore, having put away all filthiness and overflowing of malice, receive in meekness the implanted word that is able to save your souls.

22 But become doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

23 For if any one is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man beholding his natural face in a mirror;

24 for he beholds himself, and goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.

25 But he that looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues, he not becoming a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, shall be blessed in his doing.

26 If any one seems to be religious, not bridling his tongue but deceiving his own heart, this man's religion is vain.

27 Religion pure, and undefiled with God and the Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, to keep himself unspotted from the world.

2:1 My brethren, hold not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ of glory with respect of persons.

2 For if there come into your assembly a man with a gold ring on his finger, in splendid raiment, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment,

3 and you look upon him that wears the splendid raiment, and say: Sit thou here honorably; and say to the poor man: Stand there, or sit under my footstool,

4 do you not then make distinctions among yourselves, and have you not become judges having evil thoughts?

5 Hear, my beloved brethren. Has not God chosen the poor in the world, rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which he has promised to those that love him?

6 But you have dishonored the poor man. Do not the rich act as lords over you, and do not they themselves drag you to the judgment-seats?

7 Do not they themselves blaspheme that honorable name that has been called upon you?

8 If, however, you fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture; Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself, you do well:

9 but if you have respect for persons, you work sin, being convinced by the law as transgressors.

10 For whoever shall have kept the whole law, but shall have offended in one, has become guilty of all.

11 For he that said: Thou shalt not commit adultery, said also: Thou shalt not kill: now, if thou commit no adultery, but if thou kill, thou hast become a transgressor of the law.

12 So speak and so act as those, that shall be judged by the law of liberty.

13 For the judgment is merciless to him that has shown no mercy: mercy glories over judgment.

14 What is the profit, my brethren, if any one say that he has faith, but has not works? Can his faith save him?

15 But if a brother or sister be unclothed and want daily food,

16 and any one of you say to them: Depart in peace, be warmed and be filled, but give them not the things needful for the body, what is the profit?

17 So also faith, if it have not works, is dead in itself.

18 But some one will say: Thou hast faith, and I have works: show me thy faith without the works, and I will show thee my faith by the works.

19 Dost thou believe that God is one? thou doest well: the demons also believe and tremble.

20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is idle?

21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he offered up Isaac his son on the altar?

22 Thou seest that faith worked with his works, and by the works the faith was made perfect;

23 and the Scripture was fulfilled which says: And Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him for righteousness, and he was called the friend of God.

24 You see that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.

25 But in like manner also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she received the messengers and sent them forth by a different way?

26 For as the body without spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.

3:1 Become not many teachers, my brethren, knowing that we shall revive greater condemnation.

2 For in many things we all offend: if any one offends not in word, he is a perfect man, able to bridle also the whole body.

3 But if we put bits into the mouths of horses that they may obey us, we also turn about their whole body:

4 behold, also, the ships, though they are so great, and are driven by fierce winds, yet are they turned about by a very small rudder, to whatever point the will of the pilot may direct.

5 So also the tongue is a little member and boasts great things. Behold, how great a matter how small a fire, the tongue, kindles.

6 A fire, the world of unrighteousness, the tongue is set among our members, which also defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the wheel of nature, and is set on fire by hell.

7 For every nature of wild beasts, and of birds, and of creeping things, and things in the sea is tamed, and has been tamed by human nature,

8 but the tongue no one of men is able to tame: a restless evil, full of deadly poison.

9 With it we bless the Lord and Father, and with it we curse men who have been made according to the likeness of God:

10 out of the same mouth comes forth blessing and cursing. These things, my brethren, ought not so to be.

11 Does a fountain send forth from the same opening sweet water and bitter?

12 Can a fig-tree, my brethren, produce olives, or a vine, figs? Neither can salt water produce sweet.

13 Who is wise and intelligent among you? Let him show out of a good behavior his works in meekness of wisdom.

14 But if you have bitter envy and strife in your heart, glory not and lie not against the truth.

15 This wisdom descends not from above, but is earthly, sensual, demoniacal.

16 For where envy and strife are, there is tumult and every evil work.

17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, easy to be persuaded, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, without hypocrisy.

18 But the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by them that make peace.

4:1 Whence wars and whence fightings among you? Are they not hence, from your lusts that war in your members?

2 You desire, and have not; you murder and envy, and cannot obtain: you fight and war. You have not because you ask not:

3 you ask and receive not, because you ask amiss, that you, adulterers and adulteresses, may spend it on your lusts.

4 Know you not that the friendship of the world is enmity to God? Whoever, then, intends to be a friend of the world, makes himself an enemy of God.

5 Think you that the Scripture speaks to no purpose? Against envy the Spirit that has taken up its abode in us has jealous desires,

6 but gives greater grace. Wherefore it says: God sets himself against the proud, but gives grace to the lowly.

7 Submit yourselves, therefore, to God; resist the devil, and he will flee from you:

8 draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you of two minds.

9 Afflict yourselves and mourn and weep: let your laughter be turned into mourning, and your joy into sadness.

10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he will exalt you.

11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaks evil of his brother, or judges his brother, speaks evil of the law and judges the law; but if thou judgest the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.

12 The lawgiver and the judge is one, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou, that judgest thy neighbor?

13 Come now you that say: Today and to-morrow we will go to such a city, and spend there one year, and trade' and make gain,

14 you that know not what will be to-morrow; for what is your life? For you are a vapor that appears for a little while and then disappears:

15 instead of which you should say: If the Lord will, we shall both live, and do this or that.

16 But now you glory in your boastings: all such glorying is evil.

17 To him, then, that knows to do good and does it not, to him it is sin.

5:1 Come now you that are rich, weep, howl for your miseries that are coming on you.

2 Your riches are corrupted, and your garments have become moth-eaten;

3 your gold and silver is eaten with rust, and the rust of them will be a testimony to you, and will eat your flesh as fire. You have heaped up treasure in the last days.

4 Behold, the hire of the laborers that have reaped your fields, which has remained unpaid by you, cries; and the cries of the reapers have entered into the ears of the Lord of hosts.

5 You have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton: you have nourished your hearts in a day of slaughter.

6 You condemned, you killed the Just One: he does not resist you.

7 Be patient, therefore, brethren till the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient over it till he receive the early and latter rain:

8 be you also patient, strengthen your hearts, for the coming of the Lord draws near.

9 Complain not, brethren, one against another, lest you be condemned: behold, the judge stands before the door.

All human beings have biases. I am Christian and see morality from my point of faith. But, I do hope people of other faiths consider God more just than a blind woman holding scales.

We cannot depend on documents to restore morality in justice. This must come from ourselves.

Our Creator is more than just a metaphor.

The tricky road to Jerusalem passes through a destroyed Damascus!

One must be surprised to see the Islamists, who are vehemently anti-Israeli, accept money, arms and support from Israeli supporters led by the USA, Britain, France, Jordan and Qatar. It seems that the USraelis are hoping that the Shiat and Sunni Islamists will kill each and end up both losing; following the toppling of the Al-Assad Regime. There is always an American contingency plan if, for example, the pro-Al Qaeda Nusrta Front comes out a winner. Its members and leaderships will be chased and killed as terrorists similar to the Al-Qaeda men who helped the CIA to defeat the Russians in Afghanistan.

As for the Islamists who answered Dr Al-Zawahiri's call and rushed in hundreds to Syria, they believe that God is on their side and that the USraeli infidels will be defeated and Jerusalem will be liberated. In other words, both the Islamists and their USraeli mentors are turning in circles with knives ready to be stuck in each other’s backs.

Many Arab and Muslim leaders, especially in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Morocco, Jordan, Pakistan, Mauritania and Pakistan are ready to contribute in order to get rid of the fundamentalists threatening their rules.

But the situation on the ground in Syria makes it difficult for any meaningful prediction of post Assad scenario. It is like a German Eintopf. The Palestinians, who are against Israel in Gaza, are helping Israeli agents with Jordanian IDs in Damascus. The Kurds and PKK members who are against Turkey are collaborating with Turkish-Special forces. The CIA whose drones are killing Al-Qaeda men in Somalia, Yemen, Pakistan and Afghanistan are busy setting up training camps for Al-Qaeda men before sending them into Syria. The Russian and Iranian agents are collaborating for the first time in order to protect Bashar Al-Assad.

Taking the above controversial aspects into consideration, many observers believe that everyone will end up a loser in post-Assad Syria, especially, the USraelis and their allies and agents.

Impower the insane Americans to kill inside and outside the US

One in every 17 Americans are medically classified as having some form of a mental disorder. The question is how would the US deal with such a chronic problem? When faced with the problem of high German unemployment in 1930'st, Adolf Hiler drafted them in the Wehrmacht and sent them to die on the various fronts, that is after killing others. Similarly, the US is making powerful military-class weapons available to the mentally-insane and given them the legal cover to kill others inside America using the 2nd amendment or massacring civilians outside the US in defense of American interests or in the so-called war on terror.

In Iraq, the Americans may have killed a million persons to the loss of close to 4500 military personnel. Inside the US there is an on-going war killing annually more people by guns held legally than those killed in Iraq and Afghanistan put together. After America, Iraq has the second highest gun ownership in the world, but it is unsafe to send children un-accompanied to school. Thanks to the US invasion of Iraq, Baghdad became as a dangerous place as Washington D.C, Los Angeles or Miami Florida.
Navy SEAL dead in Afghanistan in reported suicide
Sun, Dec 23 21:06 PM EST

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A senior member of the U.S. Navy's elite SEAL unit has died in Afghanistan, the Defense Department said on Sunday, and media reports said the death was a possible suicide.
Commander Job Price, 42, of Pottstown, Pennsylvania, died on Saturday of a non-combat related injury in central Afghanistan's Uruzgan Province, the Pentagon said in a statement.
"This incident is currently under investigation," it said.
Price was assigned to a Naval Special Warfare unit in Virginia Beach, Virginia, the statement said.
NBC News and CNN quoted unnamed military officials as saying that the death was being looked at as a possible suicide.
Lieutenant David Lloyd, a spokesman for Naval Special Warfare Group Two, which comprises the four SEAL teams on the U.S. East Coast, declined to comment on the cause of death, saying it was under investigation.
Price was married and had a daughter. He had been a naval officer since May 1993, Lloyd said.
Captain Robert Smith, the Group Two commander, said in a statement: "The Naval Special Warfare family is deeply saddened by the loss of our teammate. We extend our condolences, thoughts and prayers to the family, friends, and NSW community during this time of grieving.
"As we mourn the loss and honor the memory of our fallen teammate, those he served with will continue to carry out the mission."
SEAL is an acronym for sea, air, land.

Violent Media Culture Spurs Violent Behavior

Hollywood has to take some responsibility for the tragedies that have befallen us. Guns are tools and they are weapons. But, our youth look at them as toys.

In my opinion, Congress needs to understand that people of all ages (including myself) want to put aside their worries by parking themselves on the couch, or in front of a desk, or sit in a movie theater to be entertained. I am not against the idea of the individual pursuit of happiness, but what is worrisome is how people become engrossed in virtual exploits. We spend so much money on the drug culture. But, how much is spent understanding the intermixing of international belief systems within video culture?

One example comes to mind is Assassin's Creed, a popular video game with children and adults. The kids cannot get enough of it.

Assassin's Creed virtual world was inspired from the novel Alamut by the Slovenian writer Vladimir Bartol. The video game features this novel's famous quote, 'Nothing is true, everything is permitted'. The phrase is taken from the words of Hassan-i Sabbah, the first recorded Mentor of the Assassin (Hashashins) military order of the the Fatimid Empire. Hashashins fought against Sunni Seljuq authority within the Persian territories.

All Hashashins were trained in both the art of combat as in the study of religion, believing that they were on a jihad and were religious warriors. Some consider them the Templars of Islam and, as such, also formed an order with varying degrees of initiation.

Quote

There is much to be learned (albeit all bad) from the founder of the Islamic Fedayeen or Hashshashin. The patriarch of Islamic terrorism was Hasan bin Sabbah, the Sheikh of Alamut. He was known as "The Old Man of the Mountain." In addition to providing a living embodiment of Muhammad's words and deeds, and thus of establishing the modern basis for Islamic terrorism, Hasan is said to have taught the Knight's Templar of Crusades how to be ruthless. His teachings were used by Adam Weishaupt as the basis of Freemasonry, as the basis of Communism, of the religion of man, Secular Humanism, and as the basis of the New World Order's master/slave fascist tyranny. Although few know the Old Man of the Mountain by name, he remains one of the most influential persons of all time.

Hasan's most famous quote reads like Allah's Qur'an and Adam Weishaupt's Order of the Illums (the basis for Communism, Socialist Secular Humanism, Freemasonry, the New World Order, and Political Correctness): "Nothing is forbidden. Everything is permitted." Weishaupt paraphrased the line with: "the end justifies the means." Communism, Fascism, Catholicism, and Islam conquer and control using this mantra.

The Shī‘a Imami Ismā‘īlī Tariqah also referred to as Nizari Ismailism is a branch of Shī‘a Islām. Shī‘a Imami emphasizes social justice, pluralism, and human reason within the framework of the mystical tradition of Islam. The Nizari are the second largest branch of Shia Islam. There are an estimated 15 million Nizari Ismā‘īlīs residing in more than 25 countries.

Nizari teachings affirm the Islamic tenet that "there is no god but the One God, and Muhammad is the prophet of God"

For Nizari reasoning is arrived at through a dialectic between revelation and human reasoning, based on a synergy of Islamic scripture and classical Greek philosophy, in particular Aristotelean reasoning and Platonic metaphysics. It seeks to extend an understanding of religion and revelation to identify the outwardly apparent (zahir), and also to penetrate to the roots, to retrieve and disclose that which is the inner underlying (batin). This process of discovery engages both the intellect (‘aql) and the spirit (ruh), operating in an integral synergy to illuminate and disclose truths (haqa’iq) culminating in gnosis (ma'rifat).

Assassin's Creed takes what is known and creates a world of historical fiction that blends the need to understand the cultural aspects of the era of Hasan bin Sabbah for you Avatar to survive in the game.

Quote

Ubisoft's vision for Assassin's Creed was to create what was essentially a Hashshashin documentary, not just a standard action-adventure video game. They got all the facts more or less correct (sadly, most Hashshashin recruits that assassinated their targets were captured and executed, which doesn't really work in the context of a video game). However, they needed to complete their vision with a strong gameplay design. Sadly, here is where Ubisoft Montreal failed, even though they actually succeeded in many ways.

Ubisoft Montreal basically asked themselves: “what would a real Hashshashin do?” As was true with the game's historical foundations, their gameplay solutions were trying to be as realistic as possible to the source material, to truly put the player into the role of a real Hashshashin during the Third Crusade.

http://www.gamasutra.com/blogs/MatthewLoPresti/20101217/6470/Assassins_Creed_The_Failed_Hashshashin_Simulator_and_its_Aftermath.php

It would be advised that our government leaders study historic impact of the interactions of the Christian Knights Templar and their Muslim counterparts, the Hashashins. Then measure the affects of video game constructs like Assassin's Creed that reintroduce philosophies like this in a fantasy role playing format in today's society.
It is my opinion, Assasin's Creed desensitizes the killing of an individual and gives a moral precept in justifying it. The psychological games like this form of entertainment are very difficult to evaluate without having a consortium historians, ethnographers, psychologist, and socialist working together.

The USraelis to face Al-Zarqawi Mark II in Syria

The Americans Must watch out for the revenge of the Jihadists!

Following the US invasion of Iraq, Al-Qaeda found a fertile ground supported by local Sunni Arabs and remnants of Saddam regime. One of the most notorious Al-Qaeda Emir in Iraq wss no other than Abu Musaab Al-Zarqawi, an Afghan veteran with violent anti-American track record including the Killing of CIA station chief in Amman. Al-Zarqawi is known for his ruthless suicidal attacks and the beheading of Americans and their allies. Al-Zaqwai was tracked down by a Jordanian intelligence officer, Capt. Sharif Ali Bin Zeid which led to his death on the hands of the Americans in Iraq. But the Jihadists didn't forget this and Captain Bin Zeid was followed to Afghanistan where he was killed by a Jordanian-Al-Qaeda double agent, Dr Hammam Khaleel Mohammed, on December 31 2009. Dr Mohammed was recruited while in Prison in Jordan to track Dr Ayman Al-Zawahiri.

In Syria, the brother-in-law of late Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi, Mr Abu Jileed Al-Tubasi (Al-Zarqawi) was appointed yesterday 13.12.212 to the post of an Emir of the Nusrat front. The same front which the US considers as terrorist. The second Al-Zarqawi intends to seek revenge for the killing of Bin Laden. At this moment, it will not be difficult to the kidnapping and the beheading of special-forces members of US, France, Israel, UK and a large number of CIA-hired civilian contractors directing the street fights. If Mr Assad ever decide to call it a day, the Americans will have no where to hide, as the Nusrat front is the most effective fighting force in the country with increasing support from the youth.

The USraelis, that are currently seeding the winds, will eventually reap the hurricanes.

$43 trillion Global Money Laundering Network of U.S. Banks Revealed

Major Banks, Governmental Officials and Their Comrade Capitalists Targets of Spire Law Group, LLP's Racketeering and Money Laundering Lawsuit Seeking Return of $43 Trillion to the United States Treasury

Spire Law Group, LLP's national home owners' lawsuit, pending in the venue where the "Banksters" control their $43 trillion racketeering scheme (New York) - known as the largest money laundering and racketeering lawsuit in United States History and identifying $43 trillion ($43,000,000,000,000.00) of laundered money by the "Banksters" and their U.S. racketeering partners and joint venturers - now pinpoints the identities of the key racketeering partners of the "Banksters" located in the highest offices of government and acting for their own self-interests.

In connection with the federal lawsuit now impending in the United States District Court in Brooklyn, New York (Case No. 12-cv-04269-JBW-RML) - involving, among other things, a request that the District Court enjoin all mortgage foreclosures by the Banksters nationwide, unless and until the entire $43 trillion is repaid to a court-appointed receiver - Plaintiffs now establish the location of the $43 trillion ($43,000,000,000,000.00) of laundered money in a racketeering enterprise participated in by the following individuals (without limitation): Attorney General Holder acting in his individual capacity, Assistant Attorney General Tony West, the brother in law of Defendant California Attorney General Kamala Harris (both acting in their individual capacities), Jon Corzine (former New Jersey Governor), Robert Rubin (former Treasury Secretary and Bankster), Timothy Geitner, Treasury Secretary (acting in his individual capacity), Vikram Pandit (recently resigned and disgraced Chairman of the Board of Citigroup), Valerie Jarrett (a Senior White House Advisor), Anita Dunn (a former "communications director" for the Obama Administration), Robert Bauer (husband of Anita Dunn and Chief Legal Counsel for the Obama Re-election Campaign), as well as the "Banksters" themselves, and their affiliates and conduits. The lawsuit alleges serial violations of the United States Patriot Act, the Policy of Embargo Against Iran and Countries Hostile to the Foreign Policy of the United States, and the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (commonly known as the RICO statute) and other State and Federal laws.

In the District Court lawsuit, Spire Law Group, LLP -- on behalf of home owner across the Country and New York taxpayers, as well as under other taxpayer recompense laws -- has expanded its mass tort action into federal court in Brooklyn, New York, seeking to halt all foreclosures nationwide pending the return of the $43 trillion ($43,000,000,000.00) by the "Banksters" and their co-conspirators, seeking an audit of the Fed and audits of all the "bailout programs" by an independent receiver such as Neil Barofsky, former Inspector General of the TARP program who has stated that none of the TARP money and other "bailout money" advanced from the Treasury has ever been repaid despite protestations to the contrary by the Defendants as well as similar protestations by President Obama and the Obama Administration both publicly on national television and more privately to the United States Congress. Because the Obama Administration has failed to pursue any of the "Banksters" criminally, and indeed is actively borrowing monies for Mr. Obama's campaign from these same "Banksters" to finance its political aspirations, the national group of plaintiff home owners has been forced to now expand its lawsuit to include racketeering, money laundering and intentional violations of the Iranian Nations Sanctions and Embargo Act by the national banks included among the "Bankster" Defendants.

The complaint - which has now been fully served on thousands of the "Banksters and their Co-Conspirators" - makes it irrefutable that the epicenter of this laundering and racketeering enterprise has been and continues to be Wall Street and continues to involve the very "Banksters" located there who have repeatedly asked in the past to be "bailed out" and to be "bailed out" in the future.

The Havens for the money laundering schemes - and certain of the names and places of these entities - are located in such venues as Switzerland, the Isle of Man, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Cypress and entities controlled by governments adverse to the interests of the United States Sanctions and Embargo Act against Iran, and are also identified in both the United Nations and the U.S. Senate's recent reports on international money laundering. Many of these entities have already been personally served with summons and process of the complaint during the last six months. It is now beyond dispute that, while the Obama Administration was publicly encouraging loan modifications for home owners by "Banksters", it was privately ratifying the formation of these shell companies in violation of the United States Patriot Act, and State and Federal law. The case further alleges that through these obscure foreign companies, Bank of America, J.P. Morgan, Wells Fargo Bank, Citibank, Citigroup, One West Bank, and numerous other federally chartered banks stole trillions of dollars of home owners' and taxpayers' money during the last decade and then laundered it through offshore companies.

This District Court Complaint - maintained by Spire Law Group, LLP -- is the only lawsuit in the world listing as Defendants the Banksters, let alone serving all of such Banksters with legal process and therefore forcing them to finally answer the charges in court. Neither the Securities and Exchange Commission, nor the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, nor the Office of the Attorney General, nor any State Attorney General has sued the Banksters and thereby legally chased them worldwide to recover-back the $43 trillion ($43,000,000,000,000.00) and other lawful damages, injunctive relief and other legal remedies.

James N. Fiedler, Managing Partner of Spire Law Group, LLP, stated: "It is hard for me to believe as a 47-year lawyer that our nation's guardians have been unwilling to stop this theft. Spire Law Group, LLP stands for the elimination of corruption and implementation of lawful strategies, and that is what we're doing here. Spire Law Group, LLP's charter is to not allow such corruption to go unanswered."

Comments were requested from the Attorney Generals' offices in NY, CA, NV, NH , OH, MA and the White House, but no comment was provided.

But who dares to impose sanctions on Israel?

The White House and US European allies have denounced Israel's decision to build illegal settlements in the occupied Arab territories. The UN secretary general believe that the new settlements of 3000 homes will cast the last nail in the peaceful process and the establishment of the two states living side by side. Not mentioning that Israel attacks or threatens to attacking any country in the Middle East with impunity. Furthermore, Israel is a rogue state in breach of 39 UN Security Council (UNSCO) Resolutions. Arabs always ask when it concerns us, UNSCO are implemented immediately but not when it involves Israeli violations. In Libya, four hours after UNSCO Resolution 1973 was passed, the UK and French planes went into action accompanied by Obama's cruise missiles destroying Gaddafi radars and operating as an air force for the NATO-resistance fighters on the ground. Aside from North Korea, all economic sanctions are imposed on either Arabic or Muslim Countries (Iraq, Iran, Syria, Sudan, Afghanistan) but never on Israel. As a result, the Arabs and Muslims have long since givev up
on the West controlled by the Jewish Lobby. In the UK, most of those currently or have been in power are/were members of the friends of Israel lobby. Similarly, in France, Israeli MOSSAD is so deeply rooted that it runs training schools in the country while Israeli agents are allowed to operate freely. The US foreign policy is drafted by AIPAC members and as President Carter former national security adviser stated “the US is a stupid mule led from the nose by the Israelis.” Therefore, the Arabs and Muslims must disregard US pressure and start imposing sanctions on Israel and on all companies dealing with it, comes what may be. Those who continue to deal with Israel must be made to pay. In other words hit them where it hurts most, in their pockets.

Let the Arab opposition be in government to face the music!

In most Arab countries opponents of incumbent regimes are denied the opportunity to voice their views let alone take part in the decision making process involving human and resource development of the country. And despite links and strong support from successive American governments, local regimes, continue to persecute the opponents and in many cases peaceful demonstrations are fired upon. The American foreign policy prefers stability over democracy in order to ensure the US Oil cartels a major share of Arab oil. That is besides accepting and living with Israeli violations and intransigence. The pro-American Mubarak of Egypt, the Saudi Kings, Al-Khalifa of Bahrain, Al-Thani of Qatar, Zeid Bin Ali of Tunisia, Al-Assad of Syria, Gheddafi of Libya, Saddam of Iraq, Saleh of Yemen, the military in Algieria, the Jordanian kings and the Israelis have/had their hands stained with the blood of liberals and intellectuals calling for freedom and democracy and a peaceful transfer of power to the elected representatives of the people. With the passing of time, and hundreds of victims, the peaceful demonstrations turned violent opening the field for Islamic extremists. The opposition won the elections in Algeria (1991), Palestine (2006),Tunisia (2011), and in Egypt (2012). The political Islam won but in Algiers and Palestine the winners were denied a chance to form governments under a number of pretexts. But seeing what is happening in Egypt right now, it was good that the Americans and their allies gave Dr M. Mursi a chance to form a government and face the day-to-day problems. The current chaos in Cairo will discredit the Muslim Brotherhood and may result in their defeat in future elections. Similarly, The Islamic Salvation Front of Algeria and Hamas of Palestine may have disappeared from the scene if they were allowed to be in government. Foreign interference in the internal affairs of countries by the US and Israel tend to back fire, to hinder the natural development processes and to breed hatred and extremism. It is in the long-term interest of everyone if the Americans, the British and the Israelis order their CIA, MI-6 and MOSSAD agents, respectively, to leave Arabs to tend to their own affairs.

The Sunni Political Islam must stop serving Uncle Sam

The CIA started to flirt with the Sunni Political Islam during the days of the cold war. The Afghan Mujahideen, the Taliban, Al-Qaeda and Hamas were embraced and supported by the CIA, MI-6, German BND, Saudi Intelligence and the Jordanian regime; in order to fight communism. The Sunni fundamentalists were effectively used to toppling the government of communist Dr Najeeb Ullah in Kabul before hanging him on 27.09.1996. Hamas was established in 1987 with the tacit blessing of late King Hussein of Jordan and his Western allies, mainly to neutralise the effects of leftist-oriented Palestinian organisation, the likes of the PLO, the PFLP and PFLP-general command. Similar to Al-Qaeda, Hamas drifted away from what the USraeli wanted them to be; a Political Islam at the Service of Uncle Sam.
But within the Sunni Islamic fundamentalists there are still elements connected to the USraelis while being finance by Saudi Arabia and other Gulf States. These elements are currently implementing USraeli designs by promoting the premises that Israel is a friend and Iran as the enemy. In the process, they are justifying attacks on the anti-USraeli Shiats in Pakistan, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan and Bahrain.
It is a well known fact that Arabs don’t have clear strategies or effective tactics. The Sunni fundamentalists need allies if they ever try to re-direct their weapons at the US-supported Israeli criminals and not at their fellow citizens. As it is recently shown in Gaza, it was the Iranians and not the Saudis who supplied Hamas with weapons and training. There is no need at all to kill shiat or to antagonize Iran, because that is exactly what the US-Israeli strategists wanted us to do.
If the West wants to limit the role of Iran and Hizbullah, it should work to force the Israelis to implementing 39 UN Security Council Resolutions they are in breach of, lifting the siege they imposed on Gaza, releasing the thousands of Palestinians from prisons and stopping the building of illegal settlements. Anything short of ending the occupation is a mere waste of time, money and valuable lives on both sides. How many more conflicts and truces are needed before the USraelis realise that keeping the status quo is becoming extremely costly and dangerous to everyone..

Hamas and Jesse Ventura: Sacrifices the way forward

Mr Jesse Ventura believes that the shooting of four innocent students at the Kent University Campus by the Ohio National Guard on May 4, 1970 shocked America and lead to the end of the Vietnam war. At the time, the students were demonstrating against Nixon-Kissinger's attempt to extend the Vietnam war to Cambodia. Following the shooting, four million US students went on strike that opened the eyes of the rest of the nation. Mr Ventura advised the 'Occupy Movement' to make sacrifices in order for the nation to hear their warnings of the danger of the mafias controlling the US Banks and its Financial institutions.
Similarly, Hamas knows that the International community will remain silent about the Israeli siege of Gaza and their daily atrocities against the Palestinians unless sacrifices are made. President Mahmoud Abbas has failed and the peaceful approach will never end the Israeli occupation of Palestinian lands,, stop the illegal Jewish settlements or force the Israelis to abide by 39 UN Security Council Resolutions, they are in breach off. The fighting in Gaza couldn't come at a worst time for the Israelis and for their American mentors: who are currently financing and arming Islamists in order to depose Assad in Syria and in trying to direct the world attention to Iran's Nuclear capabilities.

Since the West will never arm Hamas fighters with Stinger anti Aircraft Missiles to defend against the Israeli warplanes, the way it is currently doing in Syria, the Arab street will punish all the Pro-West Kings, Sultans, Sheiks and Emirs currently in power, one at atime. It is natural to conclude that the attack on the US consulate in Benghazi will not be the last if the US continues its current policy of double standards and selective morality.

The terms Arab and Muslim are not equivalent. While most Arabs are Muslims, not all are. And most Muslims are not Arabs. Indeed, the largest Muslim nation is non-Arab Indonesia. Iran and
Afghanistan, too, though overwhelmingly Muslim, are not Arab. And Islam is a powerful and sometimes dominant presence in such varied places as China, Pakistan, India, Nigeria, Kenya, and
Bangladesh.

There were Jews in pre-Islamic Arabia, but they weren't interested in converts. There were Christians, as well— but to align oneself with Christianity was, willingly or not, to make a political statement and to join the pro-Byzantine "party." On the other hand, if one decided to become a Zoroastrian that could be seen as aligning oneself with the pro-Persian "party." And such choices had consequences, because both the Byzantines and the Persians, as part of their ongoing rivalry, were becoming interested in the merchant wealth that traversed Arabia and were seeking control of peninsular trade routes.

So these seekers—or, as they are known in Arabic, these hunafa—seem to have held to a non-aligned and simple monotheism, praying and fasting and hoping, perhaps, for something better. Muhammad was one of them.

The USraelis are currently busy killing Muslims from Afghanistan to Nigeria using covert and overt operations; by troops on the ground or by Drones from the air. This must have angered three million Muslims, who according to some reports from Mecca, have been praying and calling on Allah to punish all those who desecrate Islam, insult the Prophet and kill Muslims.

One can't help but conclude that Allah must have answered their prayers unleashing his mighty destructive powers with thundering earthquakes and biblical-scale floods. What makes it especially interesting is that Wall Street, the White House, the CIA and the Pentagon are directly affected. The NYSE and NASDAQ were shut early disrupting the work of the blood thirsty Jewish financial Dracula (s) and the daily transfers of their blood-stained gains to Israel.

But would preacher Obama, Mormon Romney or Jewish Netanyahu understand this harsh and blunt message and stop their mass killing of Muslims? The USraelis need to repent and ask God for forgiveness for all the crimes and atrocities committed against Muslims and for waging so many wars that killed and displaced millions of people.

Arabs are disappointed with Obama but never for Romney

The traditional two-horse race for the White House is anything but exciting to Arabs, this time. Contrary to the last election where Arabs and Muslims were vehemently against John McCain whom they considered as an extension of the practices of the most hated US president G.W. Bush and went to support an African American Obama. Arabs have mistakenly thought that Obama will offer a fresh start away from the extremists and war mongers of the Republican Party. But following the election, Obama fell in the nest of Washington D.C. Zionist snakes and went to use all the powers of the US and its allies to embrace Israeli designs for the area; in killing Arabs and Muslims and in tolerating expanding the illegal Jewish settlements in the West Bank. Obama even vetoed allowing Palestine to have an irrelevant status in the UN, although Palestine was there years before the establishment of Israel. So his speech in Cairo announcing a new beginning was no more than hot air. In reality, neither Romney nor Obama will be able to change US policy towards the Middle East which is controlled by the Jewish lobby. This policy has started to undermine US friends, to encourage extremism and to threaten the vital strategic US interests. Right now, the Americans are waiting for the Israelis to attack Iran so that they can declare a war in defending the Israeli aggressors. The oil prices will go sky-high, countries of US allies in the Persian Gulf will sustain damage at the time bankrupt America can ill afford such a conflict. Many anti-US Arabs and Muslim pray that Romney will manage to defeat Obama, the preacher of false hope. Romney, will be just another swash buckling George Bush who will bankrupt America and sell it to the Chinese, as long as he makes some personal profits.

IT IS TIME FOR WHAT WORKS!

IT IS TIME FOR WHAT WORKS!

The choice in the 2012 presidential election is simple:

There’s the MODERATE candidate Mitt Romney who wants to use all solutions and all voices to solve America’s many problems, and there’s the FAR-LEFT candidate Barack Obama who wants government-socialist ideology — my-way-or-the-highway policy — to solve them.

Obama in the final debate repeatedly said Romney is "all over the map," and Obama's debate coach John Kerry said Romney "has about six positions on everything." They are correct, and Romney is that way because ROMNEY IS A MODERATE.

Most of the great American political leaders of the 20th century were moderates; like them, Romney approaches every problem with an open mind, looking for the best solution or solutions. It was cooperative, open-minded leadership that made America great in the 20th century, and why America did so many great things then for mankind.

America's last two presidents have been at the extremes — Neocon George Bush was far right, and Barack Obama is a follower of far-left radicals like Jeremiah Wright, James H. Cone and Malcolm X. Both Bush and Obama with their I-know-what's-best attitude have put America in economic and societal peril.

Obama's government-centered policies of the past four years added $5 trillion to the fiscal deficit (now at $16 trillion and racing even faster toward default), have caused the economy to go backwards with a GDP growth rate of just 1.3 percent, have done nothing to create high-paying full-time jobs, especially vitally needed blue-collar jobs (underemployment continues at record rates), and have allowed poverty to increase to levels never before seen in modern American history. Obama's peacenik-leftist polices of "lead from behind," announcing war-withdrawal dates years in advance, withdrawing from battles nearly won, and reducing military spending has the Middle East on fire with Muslim terrorists gaining the upper hand in nearly every country. Obama has two major policy plans for his second term: Obama’s policy to redistribute money by heavily taxing the business class would funnel most of that tax money, because of the way the Democrats' welfare legislation is constructed, to the non-working lower class and to illegal immigrants who receive amnesty; Obama's other second-term policy to give amnesty to illegal immigrants (estimated at 12 to 20 million) would flood the nation with illegal immigrants — most of whom are Latinos, most of whom are inadequately educated and skilled, and most of whom would go directly to the welfare lines — and his amnesty policy would also turn major parts of the United States into Spanish-speaking enclaves (because of the Democrats’ sanctuary-city policies for illegal immigrants, Latinos already make up the majority of the population in at least 28 major U.S. cities). Both of these second-term Obama policies would lead to fiscal disasters, crippling government from federal to local, and his “comprehensive-immigration-reform” amnesties would cause major social upheaval by lessening assimilation and increasing linguistic and cultural division.
