  4. Strathmore presents a series of family and children's concerts throughout the season. The first takes place on Sunday, 9/23/2005 at 2:00pm: Tom Paxton for Kids. This legendary folk artist and ‘60s troubadour—as influential as Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger, and Bob Dylan—is as beloved by his young fans as he is by his contemporaries. Paxton’s Grammy®-nominated children’s recording "Your Shoes, My Shoes" makes kids laugh about Barney, time-outs, and other silly subjects-and then makes them think about their world with songs like "Peace Will Come." A joyous celebration of song for the whole family. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit Strathmore's website: Strathmore.
  5. Strathmore kicks of its first full season on September 23, 2005 as it presents the Washington Bach Consort.
